As a visiting health care provider, I'm very impressed with the TLC this care home gives the people who reside here.

Judith Tan-Pascual is doing an excellent work by providing a home environment vs. A facility environment for aging patients with dementia and other major health issues. I'm really impressed at the care being provides to my Father by her group home staff.

My sister and I moved my dad into St John's located in East Fort Worth following an unsuccessful physical rehabilitation episode. [name removed] and her caring staff took such good care of our dad. The environment was always clean and the caregivers so friendly and welcoming. My sister and I agree this move was the best for our dad. Sadly, our dad passed away after only a short time being in the home. My sister and I know our received the best most compassionate care at St. John's during the last stages of his life. With sincere thanks-

I would never recommend this to anyone. There is no structure here. We visited around 5pm and did not smell any food cooking or see anyone cooking. When we asked when dinner was, [name removed] told us "somewhere around 5 to 6:30". When asked what activities were available we were told there were no structured activities as "most of them don't want to do anything anyway". It was clear [name removed] is not trained in Alzheimer's care and particularly not set up for memory care. Shared room was very small and not clean. Christmas decorations were still up in May.

The staff is fantastic. The food is great and plenty of it. The only thing is that there are no activities...no entertainment comes in, no bingo, no group activities, no group daily rosary, no Mass. I was used to a lot of things to keep me busy but now all I do is sit, read and watch TV so I'm bored. I guess for the price I can't expect a lot of those other activities but I can't say enough good things about the people and how I'm treated.

This might be a good 'privately funded' nursing care option. They offer care to 5-6 people who are co-located in a home -- a house, and it seems they offer good care to their residents. We spent 5 minutes in a home with someone showing us around. It is not a good option for the kind of care I'm looking for. It did have some uncomfortable smells, and I did not feel very welcome, or 'warm' in this place.

I toured here, and I was favorably impressed with the community. The lady who as helping us was very nice, however, while I liked the community, I don't feel it would have been the best fit for my loved one.

While looking for a place for my loved one, this location seemed like the best fit compared to the others that we have toured. Everything there is going great and their staff team is just wonderful. They are really on top of everything, they are always available for questions, and if anything happens at all they are right there. There was an incident where my loved one was sent to the hospital because of chest pain and the staff team here was very compassionate. There is a home setting feel here. They provide activities for the residents, but if you’re not one to participate in those kinds of things like my loved one they take her outside and talk with her. The things that she likes to do they do it with her. They have a backyard that is like a park setting. It has a cover, water fountain, and trees. Overall I would recommend this location to others.
