The auberge is a beautiful facility! Sasha, the nurse, is absolutely wonderful! They bring very special events to their residents! Everything from billiard parties to golf! Dance parties and live music! This is truly a one of a kind facility!
Auberge at Plano is a wonderful memory care community with a caring and dedicated team. The staff are compassionate, attentive, and always treat residents with dignity and respect. A special shout out to Gladys, whose kindness, patience, and genuine love for the residents truly stand out. She goes above and beyond to make residents feel safe, comfortable, and valued every day. The quality of care and support provided here is exceptional. I highly recommend Auberge at Plano to any family looking for excellent memory care services.
The AUBERGE has been a blessing to my family. They have all been a blessing when I think of MS.Favour when I think of MS.Felicia the Med tech, when I think of the Nurse SASHA they work so beautifully as a team to take care of my mother Barbara Mackey and all residents. I’m so grateful for all of them and it gives me peace of mind as I have to continue to work and help my family as well.
The Auberge Plano is fantastic! Very friendly and compassionate staff. I work in hospice and the families I’ve worked with there are really happy with the care. If you’re looking to place a loved one in memory care — I definitely recommend visiting The Auberge in Plano.
I would not recommend this memory care facility based on our recent experience with my mother. Over the course of about a week and a half, my mom had a significant behavioral change that staff repeatedly described as her having “flipped a switch.” It was later discovered that she had a UTI that went undiagnosed during that time. Given how common and serious UTIs are in dementia patients, this was extremely concerning. We also observed very limited use of appropriate redirection techniques. In one instance, my mom was told to “turn on quiet music” when left alone in her room—despite the fact that she cannot operate any technology due to her cognitive impairment. This reflects a lack of understanding of her condition and needs. On multiple occasions, she was found curled up at the foot of her bed under only a light blanket at night, which was both upsetting and unacceptable from a basic care standpoint. We also noticed bruising on both of her arms, from her wrists up to her upper arms, which staff attributed to “redirection.” This raised serious concerns about how physical interactions are being handled. Additionally, I personally witnessed a caregiver taunting another resident, which was deeply disturbing and speaks to a broader issue with staff training and professionalism. Finally, there were issues with medication management, including failure to administer the correct medications as prescribed. Overall, our experience raised significant concerns about patient safety, staff training, and the quality of care being provided. I would strongly encourage families to ask detailed questions and closely observe care practices when considering this facility.
The Auberge is one of the most compassionate and well-run care communities I’ve been part of. The staff genuinely care about each resident and go above and beyond to make sure they feel safe, respected, and loved. Management is supportive, the team works together like family.
"Choosing The Auberge at Plano has been a wonderful decision for our family. Misti Winters went completely out of her way to facilitate my mother's transition, even opening the doors in the middle of the night to ensure she was accommodated—a level of dedication that is truly rare. As a owner of an architectural firm, I was particularly impressed by the facility’s design. The layout is exceptionally well-thought-out for memory care, using a single-floor, intuitive flow that is great for patient navigation and safety. Beyond the architecture, the staff is incredibly consistent, and the building is always clean and well-maintained. I highly recommend this team for their professionalism and the high-quality environment they provide."
I have 2 clients there and the staff is amazing they work and love hard when I say love I mean they love the residence and they love what they do which makes it a beautiful and loving community. I highly recommend my other clients there when they are looking for a great memory care facility.
