I love this place. My dad has been here for 6 months. At first I was hesitant because the last facility was horrible. He came here with a sage 4 bed sore. The treatment nurse and nursing team are amazing. The new management is definitely making a great change. Thank you all for all you do for my dad and I.
My mother is in so much pain and suffering from cancer. The staff incompetence is mind blowing and it’s so obvious that most staff don’t care about there patients. Like no joke, how can they claim to be a care facility if they can’t even be fully prepared and so unorganized for my mother’s transfer? Excuses are the only thing that staff have to offer and no accountability for terrible service.
We do not recommend this place. It is only nice on the outside. Staffing has been terrible lately. Recently they have not had CNAs on the night shift. The only staff that has proven even slightly helpful is the Monday through Friday 2-10 staff. Maybe 2/5 nursing staff has a heart for their jobs. Looking to move my family membet.
The Crescent is an awesome place. It’s some really good people there very helpful and respectful.I will send people over there. The staff is organized the place is clean and smell good.As soons you walk in there they treat you like you at home. Very good housekeepers too
Great facility I have clinicals here and the staff is amazing, we’ve gotten clsoe to majority of them and they have are our experience as student here awesome. They are some of the best nurses!
My mom has been here for past 4 month. I just had quarterly review with Nakia and Mriana to go over everything. They were very helpful with suggestions on Constantly improving my mom's Health living conditions . I am very grateful they're here to take care of my mom with all the love and kindness.
This Took Me About Almost A Year To Write This Review About CANTEX-THE CRESCENT Nursing Home Sugarland, Due To The Fact, It Is Very Upsetting. How It Started...I Called That Morning To Get An Update On My Parent... So I Spoke To A CNA To Check On My Parent, She Stated That Breathing Treatment Was Given And Oxygen Levels Were Fine. By 12 pm I Walked Into My Parent Room At CANTEX-THE CRESCENT Nursing Home. When I Say GOD Is Good, My Parent Could Have Died That Day. I Was Able To Get To The Room Where My Parent Sitting Up In Bed Gasping For Air, Not Knowing If They Increased Oxygen or If Another Breathing Treatment Was Done, Also, Was Given Unknown Pill Medication. For The Crazy Part Hallways Was Empty and Silent...Literally Had To Find A CNA Who Was Confused Not Knowing What Was Administered From The Medical Chart To Make Sure The Right Medical Treatment Was Given. Whereas, My Parent Was Only There To Receive Rehab For Walking. My Parent Arrived The Previous Evening To Leaving The Next Day Before 1ish...In Less Than 24hrs, My Parent Had To Be Sent To The ER From CANTEX-THE CRESCENT Nursing Home Sugarland...After Major Breathing Complications To Catching A Virus There In Less Than 24hrs To A Week Hospital Stay...Then HOSPICE...To Heaven💔🕊 I Don't Know Where To Start🤬 Your Staff Need To Be Re-TRAINED On The Proper Way To Care For Patient: LACK WORK ETHICS By Far 1st Thing...YOUR STAFF Had No Bed Side Manners, RUDE, Just Don't Give A Funk ATTITUDE, Lolli Gagging, On Phones, Taking Selfies, Gossiping/Talking All While At Each Nurses Station Why No Nurse Or CNA Was Walking Around To Check On Patients, Empty Hallways, Every Patients/Residents Door Close, Unsure/No Knowledge On What Meds Give To Patient, DEFINITELY DON'T RESPONSE To When Nurse Button Is CALLED,👉As Stated By My Parent...According To One CNA My Parent Didn't Need Anything But Wanted Attention😡, LACK of Communication With Family Members. If You Have A Love One Who Need Long/Short Term Stay Don't Choose CANTEX-THE CRESCENT Nursing Home Sugarland. I Don't Like To Negative Bash, However, Your Facility SUCKS! And Definitely Not Fair To Patients and Families With The Expectations That The Facility Will/Want Take Care Of Love One...Do Better CANTEX-THE CRESCENT...I'M SPEAKING For Everyone In My Family😡
My father-in-law was there for 2 weeks. He was in no way ready to come home from skilled nursing/rehab. Minimal PT to get him walking with his walker again. Arms are strong though. Minimal help for daily living activities. Poor communication. Poor coordination. Sitting in soiled diapers. He’s home and not in great shape. I’m so glad he’s home. Long road ahead. He’s also grieving losing his wife in December. There are some good and helpful nurses there. We are disappointed. We feel bad for not moving him to another facility. I pray changes are made!
