5.0 · 7 reviewsFrom the moment you walk through the door, you feel welcome, respected and cared for. The home has a warm, comfortable atmosphere that feels more like a family then a facility. The staff is compassionate, attentive and genuinely invested in the well being of every resident. The personalized care, delicious home cooked meals and clean, peaceful environment provide comfort and peace of mind to both resident and their loved ones. I strongly recommend this place to be the home of your beloved one.
Mona is an absolute angel. What a beautiful place for spending your end days. Mona is loving, calm, compassionate, attentive, knowledgeable, generous, fun, a faithful servant of God, and a gourmet cook. The home is always immaculate and always smells good. We thank God that he opened this door for us. We could have never imagined any place or anyone to be so special for our Oma. Mona has become part of our family. We love her immensely and are so grateful she came into our lives. Jeannette Plympton
If you have an elderly parent in The Woodlands area that needs special care, please consider The English Cottage Personal Care Home in Oak Ridge. I moved my mother there last month for her last few weeks; it was one of the best decisions I ever made. Mona took wonderful care of her. The cost was much better than other options, and, despite being in Oak Ridge, it was very easy to visit from The Woodlands. 10 out of 5 stars!

Type your message here...: The basis for my testimonial about The English Cottage can be found in what God said about the great commandment in the law in Matthew 22:36-40. When Mona cares for your loved one, her care for your loved one follows this teaching of Jesus. No love can be greater than God's example and guidance. Mona cared for my great uncle Charles in the most loving way, the way that I would not only want for my loved one, but in the way that I would want for myself. Matthew 22:36-40 King James Version (KJV) Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
The staff is so knowledgeable, caring and they go above and beyond. Warm and friendly atmosphere.
Mona is so caring and she became like family to us. She took care of both my mother and grandmother. I will never forget her and I both crying at my grandmother's bedside. Her house is immaculate and she is an excellent cook. All the meals are home made. My grandmother never stayed in her room. She was alwaus with Mona. Thank you Mona for all you do!
