My experience with The Grandview of Chisholm Trail has been nothing short of exceptional. Going through the transition with My 90 six-year-old mother from broken hip to hospital For 10 days, to The Stayton For 20 days, then eventually ending at The Grandview. These three facilities are the only ones that I have any experience with regarding senior care and living. I chose The Grandview for my mother’s longer-term care carefully over several other facilities in Fort Worth. The other facilities I looked at were also in about the same price range or even a little higher. When you walk in The Grandview, the first thing you notice is how clean it is, how good it smells, how bright it is, and how instantly engaging and positive the staff is. Of course, any staff can put its best foot forward initially. However, it’s impossible to make the facility as clean as bright and as welcoming as The Grandview is on a moments notice. I suppose it’s due to the age being only about six years old. However, the facility is open and bright even in the halls. The carpets are clean without random gross stains on them as we experienced at The Stayton Skilled level. I installed cameras in her apartment at the encouragement of the staff. So, the third night was pretty rough on my mother. I believe she rang the buzzer five times through the night. The longest time it took for response, as I have verified on video, was a little over five minutes. The other four response times were under five minutes. Needless to say we DID NOT have anywhere near that experience in the hospital and definitely NOT the skilled facility at The Stayton. I’m talking about a 30 minute to 45 minute delay at The Stayton day or night shift. It’s likely a simple ratio of rooms to staff equation. What I’m certain of is that I know that my mother is getting excellent care during a very difficult time of her life. I can actually sleep now knowing that she’s getting as good of care as possible at The Grandview. It’s a big deal. Michela, Morgan, Karlie And all the Senior support staff go way out of their way to make a difficult situation as good and enjoyable as possible. Every person that I’ve talked to at The Grandview believes that they are not there just as a job but as an avocation in conjunction with their vocation. In short, they all believe that they were called to work in this industry. What a difference that makes. It is such a blessing to have that level of peace when you have to turn your family responsibility over to perfect strangers. I hope that anyone who is looking for a facility for a parent who they love and want to be treated very well, comes out and takes a tour to experience The Grandview. Don’t just read reviews. Take the time to visit several facilities. I looked at less than 10 facilities but, had a very good idea of what to expect UNTIL I toured The Grandview. This is just my short honest review from my personal experience so far. I doubt it will be different if I do an Update in the future. My occupation was financial analyst and asset manager. I was pretty good at breaking down the crap and getting to the salient issues. This review is my honest experience and opinion so far with my 96 year old, cognitively challenged, immobile mother. Summary: This is a really good place at a reasonable price to trust your senior parents or spouse to their care. Especially when you can’t be around All the time. These are good folks in a beautiful and very clean facility. Blessings on your journey.
Our experience here was truly amazing, and I really can’t recommend this place and its staff enough. From the beginning, we felt so comfortable knowing we could reach out to the nurse Rachel anytime about our mom’s care - literally at any hour. That kind of communication and reassurance meant so much to our family especially at the beginning. We also really enjoyed getting to attend family nights and being able to feel involved. The staff here are incredible. They don’t just do their jobs they genuinely care and do them so good. Everyone was always so kind, patient, and respectful toward our…

The staff here are incredible. They don’t just do their jobs they genuinely care and do them so good. Everyone was always so kind, patient, and respectful toward our mom, even when she needed a lot of help toward the end. We did not have to ever worry if she was going to get the help she needed because they proved it to us every day. Our mom went through both assisted living and memory care, and honestly, it was the best experience we could have asked for. Of course, no place is perfect, but anytime we had a concern or question, it was addressed quickly by the director Morgan. Everyone was just so nice there was just such a sense of humility there. I’m just incredibly grateful to everyone there, the kitchen staff, housekeeping staff, and everyone else. I really really recommend this place to anyone looking for care for a loved one. At the very least come take a look and meet the staff there. We are so thankful for the care our mom received and for all the staff who were there for her and for us along the way.
I was very much impressed during my tour yesterday of The Grandview. It's a beautiful facility in a great location. Everyone that I met was kind and seemed happy to be there. Karlie was really great. She was knowledgeable and professional. I also met the nurse care manager. Very sweet lady.
Excellent senior living community! Morgan, Rachel and their staff exude compassionate care. They truly know their residents and advocate for best care practices. Strong communication, wonderful environment!

An exceptional care facility for your elderly family. Everyone cares and is extremely attentive. Levi, Morgan, Karlie, Racheal, Cat, Sandra, Maria, etc, etc. provide top notch and compassionate services to my folks. Best part, we feel at ease and less worry in our lives knowing they are both in a great place and being taken care of. You won’t regret choosing Grandview on the Chisholm for an elderly loved one.
Fantastic staff, beautiful clean building and the atmosphere is so friendly and welcoming.
Great Team
