Resident & family reviews

If you’re a person of color (black etc) my advice would be to not move here. I moved here and approximately 2 weeks prior to moving in I faced racism as I’ve never seen before. The staff and management didn’t or couldn’t do anything about the name calling and hate that was happening. I finally moved and after looking back on my experience with the lack of support from management I realize that I made the right decision. Hopefully, one day the environment at The Hamptons will improve to be ALL inclusive of all ethnic groups. Sincerely, Patricia

Over the past year in memory care, the care is excellent! The staff all call him by a nickname (“Doc”), are cheerful, and greet him so warmly whenever he returns from an outing (eg. “Hey Doc! I missed you!) and then proceed to inquire about his outing. He has improved since moving in and I give a lot of that credit to the Activities Director (Sarah is amazing with such a heart for our seniors) and Assistant Director. Highly recommend!

We are so grateful for the loving care and support our mother receives at The Hamptons of Tyler senior living facility. The staff is compassionate, attentive, and treats the residents like family. It gives us peace of mind knowing she is safe, cared for, and surrounded by kindness every day. The facility is welcoming, clean, and provides a warm community atmosphere that has been such a blessing to our family.

My mother-in-law moved in to The Hamptons Memory Care Cottage about a month ago and it has been a wonderful experience. We have the peace of mind that she is being taken care of every day as if she is family. She has enjoyed being able to attend church services on Sundays, spend time with her new friends and neighbors, and even help out in the kitchen when they have hands on Activities for the residents to make snacks and desserts, which is something that she has always loved to do. We love getting the Deslie notifications and pictures showing all the fun she is having and how intentional the care staff is with her.

I have so many wonderful things to say about The Hamptons. I stop by there once a week and the facility is always immaculate and beautiful! The staff is very welcoming and helpful. I love to visit the residents and hear about their exciting adventures and activities for the day. Their activity director does an excellent job because the residents are always going on fun and meaningful excursions. I hope to join in on some of their daily trips in the future. The residents are well cared for and they love visiting with other people- they seem truly happy to be there. The Hamptons has such a joyful environment- I always look forward to my weekly visit there.

Would give 0 stars if i could. My mom was in assisted living for 2 days. Had a call pendant with full access to press for assistance. It was not for emergencies only. They said she was aggressive and had to go to memory care. She was put in a room with no way to call for assistance. She finally got 1 bath because I threw a fit. While I was in memory care someone in the hall told me that assisted living didn't want to answer her call pendant so they sent her to memory care and that they had a history of doing that. I have days and days worth if video surveillance and my mom was NEVER aggressive. There is something tragically wrong at this place.

I recently needed to move a family member, and found that the staff at The Hamptons Senior Living made the process very easy. The staff there is very kind, and helpful. They moved him,he was new to the place, they made him feel at home. The facility is impressive, the staff is carrying and very helpful. I was out of town, and working, they moved family member, and got a 3rd party to move his furniture there,They were very respectful and kind. I've never seen someone take so much pride, and kindness to make this process less stressful for me ,and family member. The Hamptons Senior Living Facility gets a 5 stars from my family, and would recommend them to any Senior citizen, or Family looking to put a family member into a Senior living place.I was and am impressed with the facilities staff, the wonderful looking inside, and outside. Thank yall!

The staff make The Hampton’s more than a Senior Community; they make it Home. The staff make a difference in the lives of our residents. We are not just residents and staff, we are all family.
