Please do not allow your loved ones to go into this facility. My father was hospitalized due to getting lost out in the heat as we suspect he has dementia along with being a dialysis patient , with heart issues and several other issues. He was sent over to this place to do rehabilitation and physical therapy in hopes to get him back up and moving around..He was maybe in there for 2 ish weeks? My mother received a call he had made an attempt to leave the building , while I understand this can be a frustrating situation for staff and a safety concern , this is apart of y'all's job. This place expects patients to be nailed to the bed so they don't have to get off their ass to actually take care of them. Again it is quite obvious he has dementia and sometimes gets mentally lost. It is y'all's job to watch him and make sure he is safe and secure , as my mother who's battling cancer and myself who works a full time job and trying to help around here at the house can not always be running up to the facility because he tried to "escape". They called us early this morning to come and pick him up because he essentially was a burden to them. We got no referral to another place for him to stay or get physical therapy. We drove up to this place , I go inside and the front desk lady led me into his room and said if I need any help to just see them at the desk. He still had an IV hooked up to him receiving antibiotics that he needed! I had to try and find someone outside of the room to help remove the IV and figure out what to do from there. They came in and sat there and told me "well we realized he would actually need to stay to finish his medication" and my mom had already driven up there so at this point we just wanted to get him home as this place is obviously not suitable of taking care of older patients who aren't "easy" They essentially were making the decision for us that he needed to stay there and that my mother or I needed to sit with him all day to monitor him or else they would have to "find a nurse willing to sit with him throughout the day" Isn't that y'all's job???? So pretty much I had just left him there in order for him to finish out his antibiotics as we had no other choice. Not even 4 hours later they call again! They literally put him in a bus and drove him to our house to dump him off on us and now have a home nurse coming out to administer the remaining IV antibiotics....which we could've done all of this from the beginning if having him there was so hard. Not only this but the staff there are rude and act like they are being bothered to do their job. No one forced yall to have this job , the least you can do is respect others and do what yall are paid to do. I also don't understand why the nurse along with others had her hair down and long nails when you are in a healthcare field and that's very unsanitary! This place is so unorganized and disgusts me. If you care about your loved ones don't send them here...no wonder yall have 2 stars.

At first glance this would seem to be a Heavenly place. Don't fall for the hype. The place basically looks like the pics but it has grown old and faded. But hey, who cares if the place safe, clean and care is good? The safety and security are pretty tight, but look at my pics. My best friend was taken to this home on a Friday afternoon, following hip replacement surgery. The surgery went great, but here were a few medical issues afterwards that I won't go into because of HEPA. They weren't ready at the home, and were still cleaning up the room after a former patient. After waiting the room still was not clean. There was left over food items in the little fridge, and you can see the fecal matter on the front of the commode, a used tissue on the floor. This was still the situation on Sat. afternoon when I visited again. The cold water on the kitchen hand sink didn't work at all. But worst, they claimed to have received no orders for meds. My friend did not receive her first ordered medication until Sat. evening. This include not only pain meds, but her regular blood pressure etc. Her daughter brought her meds from home. The medical issues that arose in the hospital required her to have assistance to get up and walk, such as bathroom. The first three times she used her call light nothing happened. Her daughter and I had to run down an attendant. It seems there is a light right outside her door, but this does not go to the nurses desk. We never could find out if this was everyone or just her room. So, you're dependent on a nurse seeing the light. The problem there was a low number of workers visible, and one very over worked nurse. On Sat. the nurse says, "You know she can make it to the bathroom and I said, "Oh no, she cannot, she has to have help. And the nurse relates that, she has no such orders and I mention, you don't seem to have any orders at all. But she was willing to risk it. On Sat. when I showed up they were changing her bed. seems the plastic food storage bag with ice they'd place on her hips had leaked all over the bed. After this they were able to find a real icepack. When i asked about a water pitcher i was told they couldn't find any and must be out. If they don't have basic supplies that's scary all by itself. I wouldn't put my dog in that place. Luckily my friend got better quickly and is out. I would not put in a review while they still had her in their clutches. Don't let the pictures fool you.

Our family placed my grandmother in this facility after a major surgery with the hope that she would receive the care and rehabilitation she needed to regain her strength. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. The biggest issue was the lack of timely care. If you pressed the call button, you could expect to wait an hour or more for someone to respond—even when assistance was urgently needed. There were multiple occasions where my grandmother needed immediate attention, had already pressed her call button over an hour earlier, and no one had come. We would end up calling…

We would end up calling the front desk ourselves just to have someone go to the nurses’ station and tell the staff to get up and help her. That should never have to happen. We repeatedly brought these concerns to management and the higher-ups, hoping things would improve. Instead, our concerns were brushed off, dismissed, or met with excuses. Nothing ever changed. We were also repeatedly told certain doctors and specialists would be coming, but many never did. The physician rarely showed up, the nutritionist we were promised never came, and several other services they assured us would happen simply never did. Medication management was inconsistent, the food was poor, and overall communication was lacking. It felt like promise after promise was made during the admission process, only for those promises to be forgotten once my grandmother was admitted. I do want to recognize two employees who truly stood out. Vivian at the front desk was always kind, professional, and incredibly helpful. She has no control over the care provided on the floors, but she consistently did everything she could to help us. Nicole, the wound care nurse, was also outstanding. She cared for my grandmother every day with compassion and professionalism. The only reason we didn’t immediately transfer my grandmother to another facility was because we trusted Nicole to continue managing her wound care. Aside from those two individuals, I cannot recommend this facility. The nurse aides were often unresponsive, doctors were rarely seen, medications weren’t handled consistently, and the overall quality of care fell far below what was promised. If you’re considering placing a loved one here, I strongly encourage you to look elsewhere. They deserve attentive, compassionate care—not long waits for basic needs, broken promises, and concerns that go ignored. DO NOT GO HERE!

I was away from my apartment for 92 days with two hospitalizations. I wasn’t strong enough to go back to my assisted living apartment so I went to Harrison at Heritage to help with skilled nursing care and physical therapy to strengthen me and my abilities to care for myself. The care I received was exceptional. Savannah, who oversaw the food and dietary, cared about my likes and dislikes and made sure I received what I needed. She also is an excellent cook. I had the very best of care by the nurses and the CNAs. To have caregivers to put on compression socks that I have to have correctly without bruising or hurting me was a blessing. All of the staff was kind and courteous to me at all times. When it was time for me to leave and go back to my apartment, I cried. I had received so much support and good care that I didn’t want to leave. I got back to my apartment and decided that I wanted to be closer to the new friends I had made at Harrison at Heritage so 8 days later I moved a mile away. I can go over there and feel the warmth and kindness and hugs that I received at Harrison at Heritage. The physical therapists, housekeepers, maintenance man, cnas, nurses, doctor, PA, everyone made me feel like I could get better and enjoy my future. I send my deepest love to all that I met and cared for me. If I should ever need help again, this would be the only place I would go. The Harrison at Heritage earns so much. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Communication is non existent. Admin hides in their offices. First night here I waited 5 hours for a pain pill! I've been here 5 weeks and yet to have a meal served hot.... cold scrambled eggs or mashed potatoes don't cut it. I would NOT recommend this facility to anyone! Therapists are great.... CNA MaryAnn and Brittany are outstanding, truly care about their patients.

It’s ok, apparently getting discharged is a pain in the back side, I told my doctor I was Ted to go home , he said he would ask nurses, left and never came back. While I am older and on a walker, I am fully capable of putting a first rate frozen dinner in micro wave as well as their kitchen.

My mother is there- because it is close to home. wowie I don't know who hired the finance mgr, but man oh man not a people person, but i bet she was during her interview for the job. sad sad sad LOL!

Nice decor. The occupational therapy is great - she works with the patient. There are staff members not valuing the patient. I had to call The Harrison to get a nurse to the room where my family member needed help from a nurse. The receptionist could not find his name - even though - -I spelled it to her three times. Somebody had to find it for her. I have encountered (three times) very rude people. I leave messages for staff to call me - yet - the calls are never returned. Orders are for my family member to sit up - every day and to walk with someone beside him for safety reasons. Nothing has been done. He is to have a MRI - not done. So wish I knew who to contact. Please use another facility.
