We cannot say enough wonderful things about Villa South on Yorktown Boulevard in Corpus Christi. From the very beginning, the staff treated our mother, who was living with dementia, with genuine love, patience, and compassion. It was clear to us every single day that they didn’t just see her as a resident, but as a person who mattered deeply. They took the time to understand her personality, her needs, and even the little things that made her smile. And that smile meant everything to us. The kindness they showed her was constant, whether it was through gentle conversations, attentive care, or simply being present with her in a meaningful way. Knowing she was in such caring and capable hands gave our family an incredible sense of comfort and peace. The staff truly went above and beyond, and we will always be grateful for the love and dignity they gave our mother. Villa South is a place filled with heart, and we wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for compassionate, high-quality care for a loved one.
We moved our mom into the Stepping Stones at Villa South this past year. Since moving her here we have been very happy with what we have experienced. What we have observed is how much mom loves it here. The staff are very compassionate and patient with her. We recognize how well the staff have been trained to help in memory care. The facility is very clean and organized and has a homelike environment for her. The office and staff regularly hold holiday parties and events for residents and their families. We moved our mom into the Stepping Stones at Villa South this past year. Since moving her here we have been very happy with what we have experienced. What we have observed is how much mom loves it here. The staff are very compassionate and patient with her. We recognize how well the staff have been trained to help in memory care. The facility is very clean and organized and has a homelike environment for her. The office and staff regularly hold holiday parties and events for residents and their families. We feel this is the best fit for her and the needs of our loved one are being met. :

My mother in law moved into this place earlier this year and unfortunately, she passed away on November 1st. We couldn’t have asked for a better group of people to care for her during her stay and especially during the last several days she was alive. They took really good care of my mother in law and attended to her (and our) every want and need. Thank you all so much for all you did for my husband and I and especially for my mother in law.

Villa South Assisted Living of Corpus Christi is truly a wonderful place filled with the most caring and compassionate people. I absolutely love this community. Just two weeks ago, I found myself here, overwhelmed and searching for a memory care unit for my mother. Robin kindly gave me a tour and took the time to really listen to my story. Soon after, I was introduced to Mary Martinez and Stephanie Lozano. These three incredible women gave me strength, hope, and the guidance I needed to bring my mother into this beautiful community. I will be forever grateful for their kindness and support. The entire staff at Villa South goes above and beyond—this truly is the best place, and I am so thankful my mom now has a home surrounded by such caring people.
I always love visiting the Villa South. The residents feel more like family than residents. They are alway engaged and happy I alway have a blast!
We moved my Dad into Villa South about 3 weeks ago. He resides in the memory care Unit, where he is receiving excellent treatment. I spoke with dad just the other day and he consistently raves about how wonderful it is there! He went on and on about how the meals are so delicious and filling. He expressed that not once has he experienced any measure of unkindness or rude behavior; stating “Everyone is really nice, so kind and professional!” He said he enjoys the activities and especially Bible Study. It gives me a lot of comfort and peace of mind to know that my dad is treated well. I personally appreciate the open lines of communication from the staff. I am able to message the nurse at anytime and she always replies within a reasonable timeframe. When I have called to check in on dad, the staff takes the time to talk to me, I don’t ever feel rushed or dismissed. I also really enjoy the activity updates on their Facebook page. There, I can see dad actively participating in activities with staff and volunteers. Villa South has been a blessing all the way around and we are very grateful that dad is adjusting so well. We look forward to a continuously positive relationship with this community…from now until the day God calls dad home. 💙
