5 stars for all categories. Village Care Homes Park Avenue is a great place, very friendly, clean, personal, professional. This is a great choice for an elderly loved one. The room sizes are wonderful. It is a home environment and several of the rooms are singles and they also offer a few doubles as well. The meals are home cooked, entertainment and medical staff are great. It is a top notch place. I would 100% recommend Village Care Homes to anyone looking.
They were very caring, friendly, and helpful. Communication was always good. I would recommend them to other families.

I volunteer at this home. I was a little nervous, I am sensitive and I thought visiting a senior home would make me sad. I have to tell you how light I felt after volunteering. This is a wonderful and nurturing place for seniors to live. It’s truly a home. The house and the grounds are beautiful, and so welcoming and serene. The staff was so kind, and the residents are all happy and definitely well cared for. Rhonda the director truly takes care of all the residents and the staff. It’s obvious she cares about all who live and work there. It felt like family, and when I left there was no sadness but joy for all who reside there. The protocols they take to keep everyone safe from Covid also made me happy. There’s activities daily for the residents, which is fun. I look forward to volunteering on a regular basis. A great place for someone’s beloved family to live, I would entrust my family member there.
They can provide 2 person transfers and incontinence assistance. Have spoken to the owners and was able to get a lot of my questions answered. pricing is about $1k/month more shown here, and then add an additional $1k/month for the additional level of service. This is on the short list.
A home-like facility with compassionate caregivers and staff, providing good personal care for my loved one. Communication between family and staff is comforting and always accessible to me.
Our family feels so blessed to have found Berean for our Dad! He loves it there and so do we! Their many activities are amazing . . . gardening, history time, parties for every holiday, fishing, games, crafts, Bible study and the list goes on! The entire family is invited to many of the holiday parties . . . and everyone has a great time . . . it truly feels like a "family" and we always feel welcome there! We trust them explicitly with the care of our Dad! A wonderful and caring place for him to enjoy this season of his life!
If you are looking for assisted living for a loved one, you could not find a better place. This facility is such a welcoming home staffed by the most caring and trained personnel you could ever imagine. They sincerely love and tenderly care for each person in their charge. The food is all cooked from scratch and the entire inside and out is kept just spotless. Berean Estates not only cares for each resident's medical and physical needs but reflect God's love in every way to the patient under their care as well as their families. If your loved one cannot be at home with you, rest assured that they are in the greatest of hands in this home away from home set in a quiet country setting.
