My Mom lived at Village Green Conroe for 7 years before she passed, and I could never adequately express my appreciation to the owner, management and employees who took such good care of her. When my Mom moved in, Nish was the director so I got to know her personally. My Mom lived at Village Green Conroe for 7 years before she passed, and I could never adequately express my appreciation to the owner, management and employees who took such good care of her. When my Mom moved in, Nish was the director so I got to know her personally. She was 100% dedicated to the residents and went way above and beyond, not just to provide them with good living conditions, but to create an environment where they felt valued and respected. She listened closely to any concerns I had and took immediate action to address them. Management frequently makes surprise visits to the various locations to make sure their high level of care is always in place. VG only hires the best employees. Two of the ladies who took care of my mother really stood out and I am still in contact with them. The employees treat the residents with care, patience, consideration and respect, no matter their behavior. They are trained well on the best way to care for patients with memory care issues and are taught to remember that they are people with feeling and emotions. In 7 years, I never heard anyone raise their voice to a resident. They don’t disagree or correct them when they are wrong. They redirect residents, minimizing anger and helping them find peace when they are agitated. There are fun activities like music, movies, parties, nail painting, dancing, etc. for the residents to enjoy. There are only 16 residents in the building, which is a great thing. Like all Alzheimer’s patients, my Mom was prone to confusion. The small number of residents, established routine, home-like environment, and beauty of the living spaces which were always clean and smelled good, create a calm environment for residents who are easily overwhelmed. Most of the residents stayed at Village Green until they passed. That alone is a testimony to the type of care provided. Residents were brought out into the open area to sit in recliners with soft blankets covering them, and that continued even as they neared the end of their lives,. No one wants to spend the last part of their life in a room by themselves. At Village Green, your loved one won’t have to. The VG philosophy works, and it gives residents the respect and care that they deserve and need. As a family member, your concerns and desires will be fully addressed and necessary adjustments fully implemented. After 7 years of experience, I can tell you there is nowhere else I would choose for a loved one with memory care issues.
I want to give a shout out to the wonderful morning aides who always go above and beyond, JJ and Brittany. And to the afternoon aides Tina and Wanda for preparing a meal for a lot of extra people. Also to the special aide Aisha who put in a phone call while she was out of town. They all made my mother’s 92nd birthday that much special with all of their kindness and hard work. Thank you ladies. You are appreciated!!
Love the staff and their attention to residents care.
What stands out to me about Village Green Tomball is the exceptional care provided by its caregivers. Despite their diverse backgrounds, the team speaks with a unified voice, demonstrating a remarkable sense of unity and cooperation. The love and care they show to residents and their families is truly heartwarming. Every member of the team, from the med aide to the cook and caregivers, works together seamlessly, like one big, happy family.. Amazing is what you all are Kim, Kelly , Genesis, Tywanda,, Christol, Asia , Marisa,, ,JJ, Britney, Shawaya and others. Thank you for your hard work.
very warm and loving place. makes every feel at home when they visit
I would not recommend village green to anyone. My grandma started there with bed sores on her heels, she supposedly had good wound care there, but then ended up with a necrotic foot and a bed sore on her bottom. She also supposedly was on hospice care and yet they are treating her more like a palliative care patient. This place did not take care of my grandma at all, and I hope no one else suffers there like my grandma did.
The staff are genuinely caring and compassionate. The facilities are light , bright, clean and refreshing. My mother has her cat with her and he provides her a trememdous comfort . Moving my mom to Village Green in Katy was the best decision we have ever made for her .
My grandmother was cared for here and I am so impressed! The space was beautiful and the caregivers were so thoughtful.
