Love the staff, they are very caring and loving, they go above and beyond for every resident there. I love how they treat the residents like family. From the staff to the manager they are an amazing team. Every time you step into Village Green you can feel the warmth and love of a home. The care and love the staff provides is top tier. If I could give 10 stars I would.

I had my mother in VG for 2 years. I have watched as the manager and most of the employees have ran that place into the ground. 6 falls in 5 months! The lack of communication and care for the job put every patient there at risk every day. The food is sub par. Mostly overcooked or just gross. The attention to the patients throughout the day is terrible. The patients are all put in living room and sat on the filthy furniture. I think they replaced it this week. The girls then either leave the room all together or sit and play on the phones. There is some good there but, Not enough to outweigh…

The girls then either leave the room all together or sit and play on the phones. There is some good there but, Not enough to outweigh the bad. I moved my mother after watching her for 35 minutes climb out of bed and hit the floor times after getting up by herself because she had to go to the bathroom. A basic human need. She was continuously denied. Needless to say, I am grateful to have been able to move my mother!!!

Charolette and her team over at Village Green Kingwood are amazing! They treat not only their visitors but their residents with the upmost respect. You can tell that everyone here truly loves what they do.

Excellent place to have your love ones. Staff is amazing and work together as a team, nice environment, RESIDENTS ARE VERY WELL TAKEN CARE OF AND THEY ARE NUMBER 1 PRIORITY.

Edit: I never Worked for this company.. I visited a now deceased relative that was housed in this facility. It is crazy to think though that they would have employees that are angry enough with their job experience here to do that out of anger and hate. lol I am deeply disappointed and disturbed by what I observed at Village Green Living Facility in Kingwood. During my visit, I witnessed multiple staff members failing to follow basic care procedures, cleaning standards, and resident prep protocols. The lack of professionalism and regard for the residents’ well-being was shocking. Many employees seemed uninterested in the residents’ care, especially as their shifts ended—they would leave abruptly without waiting for their replacements or conducting final resident checks. When I voiced my concerns to the staff, I was met with attitude, defensiveness, and excuse after excuse. What’s even more alarming is that I witnessed a nurse—who I believe to be part of the current management—distribute morphine to several residents who did not appear to need it. Tragically, I later learned that some residents passed away, potentially as a result. It is heartbreaking to think that families are paying for their loved ones to be mistreated or neglected. I had higher expectations from Village Green Living Facility. For anyone considering placing a loved one here: please reconsider. If you value their health, safety, and dignity, look elsewhere.

I love it here, everyone is always so nice and sweet, they have a very supportive team. You can see the love and care that is given to everyone.

Warning About Village Green Living Facility – Kingwood/Humble, TX My experience at Village Green Living Facility was incredibly troubling. I witnessed staff neglecting basic hygiene, safety, and resident care procedures. It was clear that once their shift ended, many workers rushed out without ensuring residents were stable, doing proper handoffs, or even checking on anyone. When I brought up my concerns to the team, I was met with cold attitudes and a barrage of excuses. What disturbed me even more was observing a nurse—likely someone in management—distributing morphine to multiple residents, many of whom didn’t seem to need it. I later found out that several residents passed away, raising serious questions. Families are trusting this place with their loved ones, and it’s heartbreaking to see how poorly that trust is respected. Do not be fooled. If you care about your family’s health and dignity, avoid Village Green at all costs.

I’m writing this as a former employee of Village Green, and it truly saddens me to share my experience. During my time there, I witnessed a troubling level of neglect and unprofessional behavior that made me question the integrity of the facility. It was not uncommon for me to arrive for my shift and find residents wet, double briefed, and not properly cared for. Many times, I would ask for help with residents and either be ignored or met with attitude from coworkers who clearly did not want to be there. Some staff would leave the building early or sit in their cars instead of doing their jobs. Even more concerning, I personally observed management instructing staff to administer morphine in questionable situations, which made me fear that residents’ lives were being unnecessarily shortened. Conflict among staff was often left unresolved, and favoritism was rampant — certain employees were allowed to pick and choose their responsibilities while others were left overwhelmed. What hurts the most is that these residents deserve love, dignity, and proper care — and I know Village Green could provide that, but the current leadership and staffing structure don’t support it. This isn’t just a job — these are people’s lives. How would you feel if it was your loved one being treated this way? I truly hope things change for the better, because the residents deserve so much more. — A concerned former employee
