⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Cheryl Jackson and the entire staff at The Wesley House. During an incredibly difficult time for our family, they went above and beyond to adjust to my father’s changing needs and accommodate him when he needed care the most. As his illness progressed, they showed him compassion, patience, dignity, and genuine kindness. They worked with our family to make sure he was comfortable and cared for, and knowing he was surrounded by people who truly cared about him gave us tremendous peace of mind. They worked with our family to make sure he was comfortable and cared for, and knowing he was surrounded by people who truly cared about him gave us tremendous peace of mind. Dr. Jackson and the staff at The Wesley House treated my father like a person, not just a patient or resident. I will always be grateful for the compassion and flexibility they showed our family during such an important and difficult chapter of his life. Thank you, Dr. Jackson and everyone at The Wesley House, for being there when my father and our family needed you most. I would wholeheartedly recommend The Wesley House to any family looking for compassionate, dependable care for someone they love.
Delvin is an amazing activities coordinator. He is always will to help with the residents and his passion for the elderly is amazing to watch. I look forward to working with him for years to come with my hospice patients.
Calm, friendly and safe feel. Glad my grandmother has a new home here.
I've been coming to this location for a few months now as a contractor, so I have no "dog in this fight"—this is purely my honest opinion based on what I see. The Assisted Living and Memory Care (MC) staff are fantastic. They truly know everything about their residents and go above and beyond to provide individualized, loving care. It's clear they are dedicated to their work, and I genuinely love seeing it. And let's talk about the food—WOW! I have to give a huge shout-out to the cook and kitchen staff. You can tell they put time, effort, and love into every portion, selection, and flavor. I often review the food, and it is never a disappointment. They spare no expense, and it truly feels like a home-cooked meal. I actually enjoy just being with the residents! If you're searching for a place for a family member that genuinely feels like home, you absolutely must stop by for a tour. (It's almost dinnertime... let me see what's cooking today!)
We went from a urine soaked floor upon move in to a resident pushing my Father to a broken hip 4 months later. They knew there was problem and did not separate male dementia residents, which is SOP. You should all be ashamed.
The location of Wesley House was one reason we chose it for my mom. The cost was another thing. Memory care is a very small unit, and I feel like my mom would get individual treatment in a smaller unit. I think the staff is all great. I've met all the nurses and most of the nurse's aides. They're very sweet, very caring, and very kind. I'm very impressed with the cleanliness of the facility. It is neat, clean, and up-to-date. I haven't seen anything that I didn't like. My mom is 95 years old and has been a little stubborn. She has not participated in many activities. But the family and some of the staff have gotten my mom to participate in some by encouraging her and being insistent. Even though we can't get my mom to join in all the time, they have some great stuff going on. I'm impressed with this place. They haven't done anything to make me think any less of them from the very first time I entered their doors. They're a good facility.
Wesley house looks great from the outside. Took my mom there a couple months ago. She had a beautiful room. Thought it would be a good place for mom. About a week later I got a call about mom. Was told my mom stunk. Was told she was stealing. Was told she needed to be moved to memory care. The place no one w wants to go in that place. Literally lock down. My mom was sick when she first got there and had thrown up. So yes her room smelled. She was also almost completely blind so she did go in the wrong room. She wasn’t given enough time to adjust The lack of compassion for my mom was unreal. My brother was dying in hospice and I was told she needed to be moved that day. So we did. We saw the memory care side. My mom was not right for that side. She could use her phone. She knew how to use her I pad. She even knew that she didn’t want to be in the lock down area. We had to fight to get her out of there because she was deemed a dementia patient. Francie the person in charge made it very difficult to get her out. And showed zero compassion for my mom. We got her moved out. And back to her former resident. All the stress of the move was just so much on her and she died a couple weeks later. Wish we would have never moved her there. Beware. It’s not all that great if your loved one needs extra care. No compassion. Just tossed aside. I blame Francie. May my mom rest in peace.
Community is very nice and team is very warm and friendly.
