Whitley Place

We moved my mother-in-law into the memory care facility at Whitley Place in early March, and we have been thrilled with the care she has received. The caregivers there are the best! They are so patient, sweet, and loving with every single resident. They really care about each person and show each one dignity and respect. And the caregiver turnover rate is very low, which not only indicates a positive work environment for the caregivers but also gives the residents the consistency in care that’s so important. We also love Samantha, the memory care director, who puts a lot of time and effort into providing and leading fun and engaging activities for the residents. She’s always so happy, friendly, and loving with them. It truly is a warm, caring environment overall that feels like you’re with family. And I feel like that atmosphere has been intentionally created by Terrie Lynn, the executive director of Whitley Place. She has a heart for the residents and their families, as does everyone who we’ve met and worked with, from Stephen the Wellness Director, to Toni at the front office, to even Michelle in housekeeping. It is a wonderful team of people and we are thankful to have found such a special memory care home!
