I will just keep this short and sweet as I do not have time to tell you all the crap we went through at this joke of an ALF. My advice - Just don’t do it. Most of the staff they hire are iincompetent including the Nurse Director as well as his manager but especially the actual caretakers. If you are going to go for it here and put your loved one here - INVEST IN CAMERAS FOR YOUR LOVED ONES ROOM- Good luck !

I want to give a heartfelt recommendation to Arbor Terrace Lakeway. Finding a place where your loved ones feel safe, cared for, and respected is incredibly important, and this community truly stands out. In what is clearly a very challenging labor market, the team here is consistently friendly, attentive, and genuinely compassionate. That culture doesn’t happen by accident. A special shout-out to Penny, the director. Penny has done an outstanding job building and leading a team that treats residents with dignity and kindness. She is always available, approachable, and has a real gift for listening to residents and their families and understanding their needs. Her leadership shows in the warmth and professionalism of the entire staff. If you are looking for an assisted-living community in the Lakeway area, Arbor Terrace is truly a place where people care. Thank you, Penny, and the whole team for the incredible work you do every day.

Over the weekend my mom went to the ER complaining of neck pain. She was admitted overnight based on blood work results that were never really explained. In any event, Terrell contacted me the following morning to check in on her and was so kind and patient as we both tried to navigate her return to Arbor. He made multiple calls to the hospital to check on her condition and ensure he had access to any changes in her medication and kept me in the loop the entire time. When we arrived at Arbor that afternoon, he met my mom at her room and immediately focused on her comfort, paying particular attention to her needs. Then we walked through all the documentation and medication the hospital gave her. I tell you this story because I think Terrell's compassion and commitment to my mom's car is what differentiates Arbor from other places. I never expected that level of high touch and it made a difficult situation more digestible for my mom. Please extend my gratitude to Terrell and the staff for taking care of her. He's one of a kind.
