Horrible place do not send your loved ones here this place is literally just there to collect the residents insurance. Spoke with a Dominic, a Shanna and a Amanda not one of them could get their ducks a-line for a patient to be seen in our office. Our nurse is going to file a complaint and hopefully they are audited.
Horrible place, Horrible staff, worst management I've ever met. I sincerely don 't understand how they pass their annual inspections.
Awful place with, awful staff, they had a horrible of covid and told no one. They've been in multiple lawsuits and still do nothing. The owner is a con and there are court records to show that he is. They jave a high overturn rate and cannot keep people there. The staff is lazy and unfit for the medical industry. Your loved one will consistently be back and forth in the hospital under their care, hospitals have sent out state on them multiple times. They still do not change. This place needs to be shut down indefinitely! The place itself is old, dirty and rundown. They lie about everything!…

Not to mention people die there of mysterious circumstances, always have a camera in your loved ones room if you plan on coming here.
I don’t know how anybody would give this place anything but a negative review. The nurses working here are sent from an agency. They have no information about the patients, so naturally the patients are neglected and ignored. None of the staff will hold anybody accountable. The management does not care. This place is dirty. There is very little house keeping done. I removed my relative from this place because she developed an infection here. This place is a SCAM!!!! They are using and taking advantage of patients to charge their insurance companies for care not receives. This place should be investigated.!!!
Those posting high reviews have no clue how your loved one are being treated, its a run down old building. Floods when it rains so most of the residents on a certain wing have to be moved this is a constant thing. Owners only care about the money while living in Dallas that also run other facilities while under paying staff and never upgrading the buildings they own.
My mother was there for a 5 day stay due to dementia. When the ambulance brought her home she had no pants on and all her clothes we sent with her were not in the bag. Also she was not given her pain medication during the whole stay and her other medication valium was missing. She was completely dehydrated and drank more then four glasses of water as soon as she returned home. Would not recommend this place.
Caring environment with excellent attention to detail. My wife stayed there for a short period and ever time I came too visit, I felt that she was well cared for. Will use Walnut Hills again...Thank You.
There are some very caring nurses and therapists at this facility, but perhaps the overall care has declined in recent years. In my father's experience, for a short term (5 week stay), he was often not showered, and he sustained many falls. He was not sent to the hospital when needed until a significant event occurred. Also communication with staff was very poor, there was no voicemail for anyone on staff and at times calls went unreturned. We eventually transferred him to another nursing center.
