Brookdale, New Braunfels has a very homey feeling right from the front door. They facility is clean and staff provide heartfelt care and love. Meals are very flavorful and appetizing. The RN, Melissa Mitchell is a Godsend to our family and is so helpful. She is on top of every need with a smile and hug, (first class lady). Melissa and a former staff member GiGi, attended my Daddy's funeral in Dallas, which was above and beyond the call of duty. Celeste & AJ are a ray of sunshine and love to Mom, each and every day. They are amazing as well ! Love Brookdale, feel like family ~
They have a fabulous, kind, and caring staff! Everyone there in every role is very good at their job!

What they could improve on would maybe be the food and choices of food. It felt like home the second I stepped inside. Mom likes it here and that is all I need and based on the experience I would recommend Brookdale New Braunfels to other families.
Administration seems to contradict themselves on issues. They recommended that we go with the medical professionals that they use for my mother-in-law. That would eliminate her primary doctor and her having to leave the facility. After receiving her EOB's for the first quarter - TRICARE doesn't pay for those services. Shouldn't the facility be aware of that? We could have easily maintained her care with her primary.
In every way “ A Place for Mom” is just what it says. They took what I asked for and it was just perfect. They do their best to please my Mom and our family. They do everything they can to make my Mom comfortable and included. They listened when I needed something. Very creative is their solutions. What a joy and a relief. They are God's gift to me and her. My gratitude is y’all’s.
Brookdale makes you feel like you are home. From the environment to the care. Cannot compare to the rest!
Always a great experience with staff. Management and staff always have a smile and going above and beyond for our residents. Parties are great and so happy to share these news with our whole family and friends.
