I visited with my mom today who is there for rehabilitation. F-117. I have to say that I am so impressed with this facility! I have my sister in a nearby facility in my town and it’s good. But today I left feeling so completely comfortable knowing that she is being cared for! I also want to give mention to the Amazing Awesome menu and Always Available Alternative Menu offered to the residents for lunch and dinner. And from the regular menu the residents have many options! This is so important! At the facility where my sister is I often see so much food going to waste and more importantly…

This is so important! At the facility where my sister is I often see so much food going to waste and more importantly residents not eating! High Five to Buckner Calder Woods and the entire staff. Because I walked the hallways a few times today and was greeted by everyone! And the place is so beautiful and clean! I would definitely recommend this place!
This place is the best. They take my parents 5 nights a month for respite care. My parents love the place and the staff. Thank you Calder Woods for being there in our time of need.
I have been so impressed with Calder Woods in Beaumont, Texas. I have a relative living there that I have visit. The grounds are beautiful. It is a large facility that a client can live independently, have skilled nursing , rehabilitation if needed and return to independent living all within the same complex. It is very clean and without odor. The staff are the friendliest people you will ever meet. They have a dining room , bistro , heated pool etc… I eat in the dining room because the food is that good. As a Registered Nurse of 45+ years, I know great when I see it. This is 5 star +.
Calder Woods far exceeds my expectations. The facility is gorgeous, well-maintained and beautifully decorated. The staff AND residents are truly kind and caring. Great food and activities too!
This facility is very nice, there's no doubt about that. My dad was placed in the memory care wing of the facility, which is supposed to be safe and secure for dementia patients who are a "flight risk". Within two weeks, he had already climbed a fence and ran off. The only reason he was found was because a nurse was leaving her shift for the day and found him hiding behind a tree. The memory care facility is NOT secure enough for individuals who are at risk for elopement. He even told them he was going to find a way to climb the fence and then go kill himself not too long before he actually did it. The memory care side of the facility is already $7,195.00/month, and they still told me he would need a third party/outside contractor to sit with him 24-hours per day. That's $384.00/day until I can get him moved... Needless to say, do your due diligence!!! I am not happy with this outcome.
The greatest thing about Calder Wood, Beaumont, for me, is the people. There are kind employees, and kind residents. I truly feel like I’m home and cannot imaging ever wanting to leave. There is never a time when I do not feel safe and any issue I might have is very quickly attended to by the staff.
Very professional and friendly staff Love this place!!
Calder Woods in Beaumont TX had transportation from 9-3 every day for all kinds of appointments. CW took a bus to grocery stores two days a week. Business office offered stamps for sale, would weigh your packages and the front desk would give them to postman, would make copies and fax documents for residents. CW also offered laundry services for your linens each week and delivered them to your door clean.
