4.3 · 105 reviewsWe enjoy our life at Buckner Villas. The food is good, the staff is caring and responsive, and our neighbors are wonderful. There are a lot of fun activities and ways to stay fit. We recommend it to anyone who wants a relaxed lifestyle with support available as needed.
My Mom moved to Greenridge a few months ago and we could not be more pleased! She has become part of the Buckner family quickly and she is much more mobile after joining the exceptional exercise classes. We are so thankful for the faith based environment that Buckner provides and it couldn't be a better fit for my Mom. A special thank you to Paul for walking us through the whole process and seeing the blessing in all the details. We love Buckner!!
I have lived here almost 7 years - in searching for a retirement facility, I had a checklist, which included continuing care. Buckner Villas filled the bill. Even though there is no longer a skilled nursing building, (because of plans for a new facility), once you are established in Buckner Villas, you have the assurance of continuing care - and once Buckner Villas becomes your new home, there is no reason to leave. Even though there is no longer a skilled nursing building, (because of plans for a new facility), once you are established in Buckner Villas, you have the assurance of continuing care - and once Buckner Villas becomes your new home, there is no reason to leave. Buckner Villas has it all! If you have a car, there is a parking garage, but transportation is provided - plus 3 meals a day, elegant dining, fabulous food, maid service, maintenance, post office, theater, gym, pool, hot tub, beauty shop, 2 massage therapists, nurse practitioner, podiatrist, manicurist, activities galore, great chaplain, Sunday services, lots of entertainment - the absolute best Activities and Wellness Directors, most helpful staff and friendliest residents, who become family! My husband and I are quite happy at Greenridge. The staff is very dedicated to making our lives happy. Lots of activities and a nice variety of good food. Our fellow residents are friendly and supportive of each other.
Greenridge at Buckner Villas checks off every box of a well run senior living facility . From the moment you walk through the door you soak in the atmosphere of competency, friendliness, and a place that you want to call home. The helpful staff are well trained and long term employees, the food is consistently delicious and beautifully served and there’s lots of activities that are fun, varied, and present opportunities to learn, enjoy life and each other. I’ve been here for four years and I love it! I feel well taken care of. Wonderful staff, great friends, good food! I feel safe. Lots off activities and entertainment. Buckner Villas is the best!
We moved to Buckners 12 years ago after visiting many retirement facilities in the Austin Travis county area. We selected Buckners based upon the range of services and programs offered by Buckners as well as Buckners historical reputation of providing quality services in Texas. Stability in the staff leadership has provided continuity and availability to the residents. Buckners has provided social and cultural programs using community resources, the exercise/gym, large swimming pool, transportation for medical appointments and community resources, flexible dining services, and efforts to provide services related to our changing health care needs. Over the years there has been a very positive atmosphere between residents and between staff and residents. When we had physical plant needs, do to the usual wear and tear, such as water heater, washer/dryer replacements, etc they were very responsive. It has been a good 12 years.
I made the decision to live at Villas about 12years ago, and continue to believe it was the right decision. The facilities are outstanding and continue to be updated. The wellness activities and gym help me to continue to stay in relatively good shape at 92. Seasonal programs, movies, guest speakers provide ample entertainment with opportunities to meet and socialize with other residents. A 5-star rating is well deserved!
