Choosing the right place for our mom was a big decision, but the team at Clearwater Assisted Living made it easy. Olivia was the first person we met when touring the facility, and she made a wonderful first impression with her kindness and welcoming nature. A special shoutout also goes to Boone, the restaurant manager, who is absolutely amazing. He goes above and beyond to make the dining room an inviting space and is always so personable and accommodating. It’s clear he is a great leader because the entire dining staff is genuinely helpful and happy. Olivia and Boone are a huge reason we…

My sister had already toured several communities before this one, so we came in with pretty high standards (and a lot of fatigue, honestly). What struck us wasn't any one person; it was the entire team. Everyone we encountered, from the time we walked in, made us feel genuinely welcomed. Gina was our guide and was warm, knowledgeable, and passionate without ever feeling like she was selling us something. But she wasn't alone in that. While we were sitting together going over options, the chef came out and surprised us with a beautiful cheese board. It was completely unexpected and such a thoughtful touch. The apartments were beautiful and more spacious than we expected, and between the dining experience and the overall hospitality we felt throughout the visit, it was clear this team takes real pride in what they do. The memory support area was a highlight for me personally. Seeing residents actively engaged and participating in activities, not just sitting quietly, was so reassuring. The staff there clearly pour real energy into making life meaningful for the people in their care. We ultimately had to make a very difficult financial decision that took us in a different direction, but that says nothing about the quality of Clearwater. If budget weren't a factor, this would have been an easy choice. If you're searching for a place for someone you love, come here first. You'll leave with a very high bar for everywhere else.

I recently moved my father, who is in the moderate stages of Alzheimer's, from an assisted living facility in Houston to the Memory Support at Clearwater. I could not be happier with my decision to move him here. I initially looked at Clearwater due to its proximity to my apartment and the reasonable overall pricing of memory care. From the beginning, my experience has been nothing short of amazing. Tricia Lohbeck, the Senior Sales Director, was so supportive and attentive. She was knowledgeable about the care, the facility, and personable with staff and residence, which is always great to…

She was knowledgeable about the care, the facility, and personable with staff and residence, which is always great to see. My only hesistancy was the view of the room that my father was going to be in. From the get go, Tricia began problem solving how to spruce up the room and the outside view to meet my father's needs. Tricia continued working her magic, though, and ended up getting my father our desired room! It was the icing on the cake, as I was already excited about the facility and the move. On the day we arrived, Tricia and Bonnie Silva, the Activities Director, met my father with a literal red carpet. He was so excited. Everyone was so welcoming and made him feel right at home! Lisa Almond, the Memory Support Director, even came in on her day off to make sure my father's transition went smoothly. This was definitely above and beyond. Since day one, everyone has just been so kind, friendly, helpful, caring. Staff greet you with the friendliest faces and never seem to be bothered by any request. This is definitely not something that is easy to find. Tricia also hasn't stopped making sure that everything is going well, and has reached out to update me on how my dad is enjoying his days. And, the physician they collaborate with, Dr. Christopher Chen, is beyond informative and caring. We moved in on a Saturday and by Monday he had already checked on my father, updated his plan of care, and reached out to me via phone. Everyone truly has put my mind at ease and made this transition better than I could have hoped for. Despite my father's confusion and cognitive deficits, he always says how great everyone is treating him and how much he is enjoying his room and of course his view! And, he is enjoying getting to go on outings into the community with Bonnie and the other residents. Truly an excellent experience so far!

While looking for a new retirement home for my mother we found Clearwater at the Arboretum, it’s a beautiful property, but the number one reason we chose it was because of the staff. Most importantly, Tricia Lohbeck The senior sales Director was so helpful and friendly that it made Clearwater our first choice. she was very knowledgeable and it really showed that she cared and I think because of her leadership there’s a wonderful warm and welcoming Staff at this property, And I look forward to moving my mom in because I know that she will be well taken care of.

My family member moved into Clearwater Arboretum recently and she loves it there! Her apartment is spacious, beautiful, and filled with natural light. The staff members are helpful and attentive and the food met even our discriminating tastes. The variety of activities for the residents exceeded our expectations! All of our questions were addressed and answered to our satisfaction. We toured several centers before deciding on Clearwater. We have all been so pleased!

My mother-in-law suffered a stroke two years ago and was diagnosed with progressive FTL dementia. Her care needs have escalated significantly in recent weeks, due to a serious injury and recovery stay in a nursing rehabilitation center. My husband and I have researched dozens of care facilities in Austin – from our very first visit, Clearwater Senior Living stood far and above any other. We were hoping to find a place for our mom that provides the nurturing medical, physical, and emotional care that she needs – and we found it in Clearwater Senior Living. Tricia Lohbeck, Senior Sales Director has been an absolute angel for our family – she even came in on her day off! and gave us a full tour since we were traveling from Houston. Right away, we saw the caring hearts and warmth of the entire staff. The facility is absolutely. beautiful, warm and open. Tricia made us feel so welcome and comfortable right way, she is a wonderful listener and also asked very thoughtful questions about mom’s needs. She has an incredible knowledge of the senior living industry and different care levels, which was very helpful for us to make our decision. Tricia actively and enthusiastically listened to our concerns and what our mom’s needs and “likes” are (even the kinds of foods and activities she’s interested in). Tricia has been with us every step of the way, following up with us by phone, text, email, and checking on mom’s status in the hospital and nursing rehabilitation every day – she even stayed late in the evening so we could meet in person again and go over all the next steps before we traveled home. Our mom is facing a long physical recovery and transition to memory care, and Tricia and the Clearwater team have already gone the extra, extra, EXTRA miles to help us navigate this complex and emotional transition with tremendous professionalism, kindness and compassion. We are beyond grateful!

At Clearwater, I first saw a beautiful new building and nothing else. After taking a tour and understanding their philosophy about assisted living, it became crystal-clear that "Clearwater at the Arboretum" is different because of their friendly staff and heartbeat living inside the building. All employees work together as a team to make the transition into assisted living feel like a happy, supportive and caring decision. Specifically, Olivia at the Austin Texas location has been extremely helpful from the first day I called Clearwater. She was available for a short-notice tour, explained all levels of care, floorplans, activities, and move-in process. She volunteered to go the extra mile in many ways by helping to coordinate important documents with doctors, family members, and other Clearwater staff. She worked hard to make sure all family questions were answered and all needs of our elder family member would be met with the appropriate level of services while living at Clearwater. In addition to Olivia's gracious assistance, all staff members have been very accommodating, welcoming, and attentive to the needs of our elder family member. Our family decision to use the services at Clearwater feels like the beginning of a trusted partnership for many years to come. Many thanks to Olivia, Krista, Janice, Norman, Boone, Jeanie, and all the other supportive staff members at Clearwater!

My step father has been in memory care at Clearwater since last August and I have been very happy with the overall care he has received. Our move in day was very organized and welcoming. Tricia was great at getting us setup. I’ve really appreciated all of the services that were included - laundry, wifi, etc. The food is good. They had a holiday lunch for family and it was so nice to celebrate together. The staff is also extremely helpful and so nice. Evie and Lisa have been excellent partners, giving me information when needed and making sure my parents medical needs are met. They go above and beyond at all times. I love that they have an onsite stylist, physical therapist, and doctor that visits. And the activities are great. Every time I would visit, there was something going on. I’ve been so thankful for this facility and these caring people.
