Deerbrook Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation

Our family is so grateful for the care my mother received at Deerbrook. She was discharged home safely today after a scary fall that resulted in a hip fracture and hospital stay. Initially, we were considering a different route for her recovery, but after speaking with Devin and Dr. DiTommaso, we felt so much more comfortable. They truly took the time to address our concerns, and we are so glad we followed their recommendation. The therapy team was top-notch. My mother received both physical and occupational therapy that were instrumental in her getting back on her feet. A special shout-out to Daniel, the rehab manager—he was absolutely amazing and ensured everything ran smoothly throughout her stay. If you are looking for a facility that combines professional expertise with a personal touch, I highly recommend Deerbrook.

My dad was at Deerbrook to receive IV antibiotics and therapy, and our family couldn’t be happier with the care he received specifically by therapy. The therapy team was absolutely amazing, so supportive, professional, and encouraging every step of the way. Devon took the time to explain the entire process clearly, which made us feel much more comfortable choosing rehab instead of going straight home with home health which is what we were initially going to do. We’re so grateful for the excellent care and peace of mind Deerbrook provided during this time.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Deerbrook Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation has been wonderful for my dad. Devin Johnson was referred to us by our case manager Payton @ Kingwood Medical Center. Devin came and met with us all at the hospital to explain everything clearly and helped us feel confident in choosing the right place. Devin’s “counterpart” Quartisha made the actual admission process so easy—The staff are caring and attentive (especially Ciara & Tiara), and we’re so thankful for the support our family has received here! The only area for improvement I would say is answering call lights more quickly & having more attentive nursing staff, especially on weekends and nights.

Praise YESHUA! My aunt lived in Deerbrook 1960 faculty for over 6 years! The administration tried to make her stay there smooth as possible! I do have a some serious concerns for the last 2 years of her stay! 1. She wasn't kept dry! For the last year ,my aunt always had bed sores! A couple of times they were deep sores! 2. The doctors keep her doped up. 3. The diapers ordered for her/from her UnitedHealth account were distributed/shared with other patients or Stolen by staff! 4. This supposed to be Rehabilitation Nursing Home, doesn't live up to The Claim! (My aunt went in walking, She came out in a wheel chair.) 5. The women they frequently hired (To bath, change diapers, feed the patients) or either under trained or they just don't Care! (I've seen a few exceptions over a 6 year period!!!) 6. The owners of Deerbrook could careless about their patients! The food is horrible!. They served fish sticks without fish! I always saw some watered down tea, coffee, milk, A half (4oz) water (In the Last 3 years, I stop seeing Water for patients!💧 I'm serious yall...they've stop giving those elderly people Water 💦!!!!!! Go check ot out for yourself! I had to buy my aunt Water! Again! I'm not blaming the Administrative Staff! They just work and do the best they can with 'What they have'. Would I recommend Deerbrook?. Yes and No! Pray! Ask THE LORD to give you Strength and Wisdom to take care of your own!!!! If not possible (No Way!)Then visit often! Go help as much as you can! The staff will see you Care! One of the leading nurses Serria is an absolute terror. She is rude and was constantly giving me dirty looks. Her and her staff were very rude to my loved one and made it extremely hard on me and my family.
