Thank you Cynthia for trusting my judgment about the care of your loved ones please feel free to call or visit Avir of Henderson as you wish
The facility has caring staff which not only includes the nursing staff but the business office staff, social services director, Myrtle Lacey, activity director, Neka and the marketing director, Tamiko Wilcox. It takes a team of people to provide good care.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I can’t say enough good things about this nursing home. The staff was warm, welcoming, and genuinely caring. They treat the residents like family and go out of their way to make sure everyone feels comfortable and valued. The facility is clean, organized, and full of activities that keep the residents engaged and smiling. Communication with families is great—we always feel in the loop. It brings me so much peace knowing this is a place where they are safe, respected, and well cared for. Thank you for all you do!
Let me tell yall something about this facility what a super great place for my dad they took very good care of him right up till the time he passed not only did they take care of dad they took great care of the family in our time of mourning an that goes from the administration all the way down to the CNAs made sure we had every thing we need ❤️
Loved one with Dementia was in bed with no rails and fell out of on more than one occasion. She had something on her scalp and forehead several shades darker than her skin that resembled cradle cap. Since I have been caring for her at home it has not returned nor is her skin peeling from her legs . If your not in your right mind or can’t do for yourself that is not the place to be.
This facility has a great rehabilitation center. There are many windows to watch birds while exercising like Cardinals, Blue Jays, Red-Crowned Woodpecker, Doves and Sparrows. There's several bird feeders. I saw a bird that was the size of a Sparrows, but upon watching the bird, I saw blue feathers for he was a baby Blue Jay. There's two Cardinal males that have the brightest red color I have ever seen. Also, the area outside the rehab is loaded with so many beautiful flowers with a lot of red flowers. Henderson Health Rehabilitation Center is a very clean facility with friendly staff. The only thing negative I have heard of is disappearing clothes and they said they are working on it. I find I have had that problem at home with socks. Some of the meals are good, especially if it is a favorite of mine like pork bbq on a bun. I hope they can finish minor renovations to some of the rooms.
Horrible place. My grandfather was at Autumn leaves several times for physical therapy during the covid pandemic, and each time they took amazing care of him, but when he started to develope dementia, we had to place him in a facility with a memory care unit, and the only place in Henderson we could afford was HHR. Within 2 weeks of being there he tested positive for covid, and within 3 days he was dead.
Amazing facility that took great care of my great grandmother when things got hard for her and our family. With her dementia, she was declining, and they were patient with her and caring. They may not be the newest facility, but they have the best care and rehab in town!
