I recently moved into this nursing home, and my experience has been great so far. The admission process was easy, and the staff made everything go smoothly. The business office was organized, helpful, and answered all of my questions. The nurses and clinical staff are caring, experienced, and always treat me with kindness and respect. I'm very happy with the care I've received and would recommend this facility to others.
The second floor social worker, Liv, is incredibly kind, supportive, and easy to talk to. She always makes me feel heard and comfortable, and I really appreciate all of her help!!
My mother has been at this facility for a couple years now with dementia. I've seen a lot of relatives end up in medicare facilities that were absolute nightmares. I will say the people here REALLY care about the residents. And they are VERY proactive in getting information to you. They do many events to try to get members involved. I have never seen a single employee get frustrated (and caring for elderly people with neurological issues can be extraordinarily stressful). If anything has gone missing they got it back. I have never seen a single employee get frustrated (and caring for elderly people with neurological issues can be extraordinarily stressful). If anything has gone missing they got it back. Look, nobody wants to see their parent in a non-private care facility. Our healthcare system is terrible. But this place is the one you want them to be in. I can tell you from first hand experience, it is way better than some of the understaffed and poorly magaed ones.
Such a crucial place for MAP patients in high need. I collaborate with the social worker Liv often and she is so knowledgeable and provides excellent patient care. She has helped me so much by partnering to help our mutual patients through clear communication and collaboration. Anyone who has the chance to work with her can immediately tell that she cares deeply about the patient & helping them achieve optimal personal and medical outcomes.
Heritage Park is a wonderful facility and Nurse Yolanda James shows genuine compassion, professionalism, and kindness to both her patients and fellow coworkers. The administrative team also does an incredible job supporting the staff and providing strong leadership throughout the facility. It’s clear that everyone here is dedicated to creating a positive and caring environment.
I’ve been at Heritage Park a lot for events like Juneteenth and have gotten to know the staff. Max, Bernadet, and Jose are extremely kind and caring when they are interacting with the residents. Ruth, one of the smoke aids, is very funny and does a great job entertaining the residents. The whole staff makes the place feel like a home for the residents.
This 3rd time I've been in this facility. The wound care is second to none.i had a surgical wound on my leg with an infection in the bone from a botched tibia repair 2 years prior. Pat Garza RN healed my wound that had been in my left lower leg for 2 years. She's the absolute best wound care nurse I've ever met. Josh Stroebel's therapy team is too notch as well. They got me moving again so I didn't become bed bound. The nursing staff, led by Georgette Helou RN are here because they love their job. Oscar recently took over Environmental Services and is getting the place cleaned up. Rodger Brown, administrator, is kind hearted and loves his residents. All of the staff are excellent! The antique building in no way reflects on the quality care here.
Liv the second floor social worker has been a wonderful addition since she started! I have felt so cared for and know she will do everything in her power to help
