Denise Colville, the Activities Director at HollyMead is beyond amazing!! I go to HollyMead on a regularly to visit a dear friend who has lived at HollyMead since his wife died. I love taking Sam down to the Activities Room to join in on the fun. Denise has the residents making jewelry, stringing beads and doing all kinds of crafts. It makes me so happy to see the residents interacting with each other and with Denise. She has even organized a Fall Festival the past few years with a “petting zoo” of farm animals. The residents go crazy over the goats and ponies!! Thank you Denise for making…

Very impressed! Especially with the activities for the residents. Denise Colville does a VERY good job offering so many activities such as crafts with beaded jewelry, classes and even Bingo. The residents seem to love having so many things to do. Very nice and clean facility.

If you have no family nor friends I guess it’s a good spot but tbh the facilities does not look well keep all wood furniture is damaged lots of bugs and ants they should also try to make accommodation for guest whom stay with their love ones and they do not offer anything not even water also needing to stock up on guest room like toilet paper as I had to ask multiple times for simply things that if I was not there my family member would have a hard time. There is always a smell of pee which clearly it’s not good for elderly to be smelling let alone whom ever it was should be left that way.…

There is always a smell of pee which clearly it’s not good for elderly to be smelling let alone whom ever it was should be left that way. The timing they have is horrible they will relay a very late message. I have taken a some photos of proof. For almost 7k (6,500) a month I am sure there is way better out there. The discharge process is horrible as when you have patients waiting on you to provide an update and then all staff leaves for the day and sometimes they will try the best you can be discharge as up to 12 am that is horrible need more structure for sure! Glad I have my family member back under our care.

I would not recommend Hollymead in Flower Mound. We had to request discharge because of repeated concerns with the care provided. My family member has a history of falls, and when we would call for assistance at night, response times were often very slow, which was extremely concerning given the fall risk. Cleanliness was also a major issue. There were times my family member was left wet for extended periods, and the overall facility did not feel clean or well maintained. Several night nurses consistently had poor attitudes and seemed frustrated when assistance was requested, which made an already difficult situation even more stressful for our family. The discharge process was also handled very poorly. We were told we would receive two weeks of medications, but that did not happen. The medications we did receive were disorganized, and some of the most important prescriptions were missing. I had to return to the facility myself to request the missing medication. Overall, our experience was disappointing and concerning. Families trust facilities like this to provide safe, compassionate, and organized care, and unfortunately that was not our experience.

Dad was there about 30 days. The staff and facility were amazing. Thank you Holly Mead!

I was surprised to see the rating of this facility as it surely is a wonderful facility and deserves a higher rating of at least 4-5 stars ! I have been a resident in and out of this facility for the past 2 years due to different surgeries. Believe me I make sure to let them know that this facility is the only place I will go to! The staff is caring and always is there to help with my needs. The Rehab team is awesome and address all the different therapy needed,. The food is great and gives variety . The nurses and aides are knowledgeable and work hard while still keeping a smile and pleasant personality even when busy. The office staff are helpful and if there is a difficulty they do their best to help you through it. Bottom line is that this facility cares about you not just as a patient but as a person individually who needs help with different health issues. I feel confident here as a patient knowing that they care about me and my needs and will do their best to make sure my health is a priority to them! Thank you to all staff at HollyMead!!

Nurses don’t showed up when you called leaving you there in pain when they do is always the same excuse (they are with another patient or they didn’t saw the call light or if someone comes turn the light off and then disappeared and never coms back) ignoring you and your pain. Or in the early morning the noises they make in the hallway wakes you up. Between the talking and dragging the carts is impossible to rest any amount of time if I could I will give cero ⭐️⭐️

We are very happy with the facility especially with nurse and caregivers. They are so attentive to our mom’s needs and do not hesitate to go the extra mile for her care. Pt staff is amazing, really helped her get stronger to get back to her assisted living. My mom was very worried about skilled nursing and we are very thankful that we found Hollymead.
