As the Director of Nursing for Texas Hospice Providers, I had the pleasure of visiting Joyful Assisted Living Home to introduce our organization. I was truly impressed by the professionalism of their team, the compassionate environment they have created, and the high standards of care provided to residents. It is clear that their staff values collaboration, communication, and a holistic approach to meeting residents’ needs. Hello, my name is Barb Rahmig and I wanted to share to all about my experience with my Mom at Joyful AL. My Mom lived at her home until she was 95. The time came she needed more help. I moved her to a large, popular institutional care center in Mesquite, TX. Started out in AL then after a broken hip to nursing care. As frustrations built with this place, I started to do research and found Joyful. Moving my Mom here was the most positive, best decision I could have ever made. She was happy, safe and most importantly LOVED! Every visit I made to see her, I could feel the care and love and compassion for not only her but for all of the residents. In September of 2024 she said “I am really happy now”. I am grateful for the last 10 months of her life were great and all because of the love and caring she received here. Thank you Caroline, Pat, Merga and Rosina for embracing her and making her feel like family. I will be forever grateful to my Earthly Angels!🙏

They made my mom's final days as comfortable as possible. [name removed] the caregiver was so patient and kind. The facility was clean and comfortable. The meals were great and when my mom had to switch to a liquid diet they made sure she had ensure. The neighborhood was nice and quiet in a nice area. As for the cost it was the best rate I could find.

It was clean, great personal, and great caregivers. They worked with me on price. And they read the Bible to one's that want them to.

My husband was at Joyful assisting living after being in the hospital then going to rehab then to Joyful assisting Living. He was total care and he received excellent care with love comfort and kindness. The care givers were very patient with him, great concern for his needs and very loving. I would advise this place to anyone who needs good care.

Joyful staff have been so responsive to my Mom’s needs. They are very friendly and caring. The skilled nursing staff work with hospice staff for the best care possible. They dedicated professionals go above and beyond to ensure the residents feel comfortable, safe, and valued. Their attentiveness and genuine care are evident in every interaction. They take the time to know each resident personally, which creates a family-like atmosphere that is both comforting and reassuring. The facility is clean, and offers a homey designed living space that is perfect for socializing. The private rooms are cozy and personalized to make each resident feel right at home with their own furniture and decor.

My loved one was previously a resident at Joyful Assisted Living Home and it was a great experience. The staff was friendly, kind and caring. The facility was very clean and the meals were good. I would recommend this facility to others.

Joyful home was a blessing home for my mother for 2 years. Mom received a beautiful care from Louis, Marge, and all Joyful family. Knowing mom was loved and cared at Joyful is what comforts me now that she is gone to be with her Lord.
