A small and nicely appointed facility with caring and compassionate staff. They have taken excellent care of my loved one for almost 2 years. I highly recommend this facility.

This facility is understaffed with unqualified employees. I found her unchanged too many times to think it was a mistake. . I walked in one day to find her see over medicated her eyes rolling back in her head. Many residents were in the same state, I believe it was to make them easy to manage on a Sunday night. I went in the next day to complain only to find out that Her 2 carat diamond wedding ring that we couldn’t get off her finger went missing that same night and the manager basically didn’t care. I found her locked in her room. She was in a wheelchair and if there was a fire she would of been stuck. I began looking for another place then Covid hit. During the Covid lockdown I witnessed verbal abuse of my mother. I called and complained the answer was they wouldn’t have that employee work with her. I said I am more concerned that you would keep her and have her abuse others. They don’t all have someone watching you to advocate for them like my mother does. I saw them feed her dinner twice within 15 mins of someone taking her dinner away. No one knew what was going on. I had an employee who left call me to advise us to find another place. have photographic evidence of them going into my mothers room in a hazmat suit and spraying her room and her in her bed to disinfect her as sadly 85% of the residents had Covid. When she coughed from the spray the guy stopped spraying and yelled at her to close her mouth and then continued spraying. They transferred all of them to a Covid facility. My mother didn’t live. I believe they caused her death. I write this in the hope that although I was too late to save my mother maybe reading this keeps you from this place and it gives you a little longer with the ones you love.

OUTSTANDING CARE!!! My great aunt has been living at La Fontaine Memory Care since January. She came from another facility where she lived for five years. La Fontaine far exceeds the care she was receiving before. I feel my aunt is safe and well taken care of. I'm two minutes away and stop in sporadically throughout the week. Always find a consistent atmosphere! The entire staff is wonderful! I love to watch them interact with the residents. Super patient and upbeat with them! The activity director also does a great job getting the residents involved. Families always need to remember that…

I have been very pleased with the aides that they have hired to care for the residents. That is what sold me. They have a respect and love for senior adults. There is high turn over on the administration side. My parents don't care of the food. I have been frustrated with the Covid-19 system they have in place. Communication has not been great.

I saw La Fontaine Memory Care. It was nice and clean, it's a smaller community, the staff was very friendly, and they had activities for the residents. They had a calendar, and there's crafts. They were nice, but not what I was looking for.

Just wanted to give kudos to several La Fontaine staff members beginning with [name removed], Activities Director. I am a member of a women's organization in Frisco and we love volunteering to assist [name removed] with activities. He is energetic, funny, full of great ideas and clearly has a passion for the residents. The facility's cleaning staff are friendly, helpful and diligent about ensuring that floors, restrooms and other areas where residents will be are spotless. Another employee who also deserves kudos is [name removed]. Not only does she administer medications to the residents and monitor their daily food intake, general well-being and safety, she professionally, honestly and clearly communicates with family members. This lovely lady wears many hats and manages to stay calm, cool and collected. She is professional, kind, compassionate and also an asset to La Fontaine.

I just toured LaFontaine and was amazed at the difference in some of the home care facilities I’ve seen. My husband will be going here for respit and cannot wait to hear his praise also! The atmosphere is peaceful , staff are gracious and the facility is state of art.

It is an In patient home for memory care and other cares a senior may need as they get older.
