What I like the most about Morning Star is that it is small, 16 beds at max capacity. It's family owned and feels like a family runs it. Yes, I would recommend this community to other families based on the experience

People should not take anything sentimental or valuable to the facility as some items have disappeared (a beautiful quilt my mother in'-law made). A number if times that we visited the facility, none of the staff was on the floor where most patients spent their days. Patients were allowed to go in other patients beds. They use all clothes and shoes you bring for everyone. The laundry is not kept up. Our Mother passed just after we paid the monthly payment for her care and they shorted us [amount removed] ,of what we were due back. I called and they sent us [amount removed]. I wrote them about…

My husband is a resident of Morning Star Memory Care of Fredericksburg LLC. The people are caring. It's a very homey atmosphere. The food is very good. The facility is old and it needs updating. It's all memory care and there's only a maximum of 15 residents. They have activities for family too, almost once a month they have a big dinner for everybody. They have the TV going and everybody kind of sits in one big room. They could do something a little more than what they do, the person that used to be there was great, and now they have somebody that -- I haven't seen any activity. They have…

My wife moved to Morning Star Memory Care of Fredericksburg. I like the attentiveness of the people involved and their attitude towards her. It's a home with several bedrooms. It's all very clean. It's a shared room. It has fair value.

Overall I have been happy with my selection. There Were a couple of team members that I felt did not take as good as care of the residence as others did however, they are no longer employed there. Bottom line, I would recommend. Family members and friends when they visit for the first time, thought it was a good place so you can't go wrong with the first impression

The people at Morning Star care about their residents. They follow through when they tell you they'll do something. They have a lot of activities for the residents to keep them active. They're fed balanced meals. This is a very good facility for people needing this type of care.

We picked this community, because it was closer to relatives, and friends. I'm from that area, and hoping to retire in that area. The experience is great. I would recommend to others. The people in this community are very friendly, and polite towards senior citizens.

My loved one likes the food. I picked this place because, it was available at the time and I liked the location. They need better food options, and more activities. Overall, it's a good place.
