Southern Hospitality is an outstanding facility with excellent staff. For over a decade, I've owned an insurance brokerage specializing in helping people transition from the working world into retirement. In that time, I've worked with thousands of clients, explaining Medicare, Long-Term Care insurance, Social Security, and more — which means I've also seen a lot of skilled care facilities, some wonderful and some terrible. Among my clients' stories, the good ones have been rare; most of what I've heard about skilled nursing facilities has been bad to horrifying. That's what makes me so…
Southern Hospitality is an outstanding facility with excellent staff. That's what makes me so grateful we found Southern Hospitality Home (SoHo) for my mom. For one thing, they saved her life. She had struggled with a chronic UTI for over a year, and once she arrived at SoHo, it cleared up within a month. SoHo was the first facility to consistently provide the level of care and cleanliness she needed to actually recover. She's been there for several years now and is genuinely happy. The food is good, the staff is kind and attentive, and the house itself is clean and welcoming. I rarely give glowing reviews like this, but they deserve it.
Beautiful home and beautiful people
I was truly blessed to have had Southern Hospitality Home care for my mother for the past 3 years. Michelle and all of her staff are literal angels here on Earth with hearts of gold. They loved my mother and she could not have been better cared for. This is an actual "house" with a maximum of 15 residents. It is very "homey" and everyone is always friendly and positive. I miss all of them now that my mom has passed. I will never forget their compassion and would give them 10 stars if I could!! Highly recommend!
Michelle and her staff are so wonderful and caring people. I am so happy that my family choose such a qualified and caring facility for our mother. My mother is treated like a queen and loves the activity's and will always tell me how great the meals are. Michelle thank you and your staff so much for taking care of our mother.
So thankful for the wonderful, excellent, compassionate care the SOHO staff and leadership provide daily for my mother, Ethel. She is a truly happy and contented resident of SOHO! May you all have a blessed Christmas season! Sincerely yours, David Brack
I called to offer services that senior patients could definitely use and I was brushed off as a robo-call. Not a good way to do business.
I enjoyed the residents and staff
I chose to move my husband to Southern Hospitality Home. It was beautiful. What I liked most was the person who gave the tour, the variety of activities, and the attitude of the staff. The staff who gave the tour was very attentive, very responsive, and very interested in my husband's situation. I didn't try the food, but I saw it. It was very well set up, it had a nice room where they could all gather, and porches for them to go outside. It was very comfortable and very homey. They have a full-time activity director, and they were very helpful in bringing in people for physical therapy, and all kinds of things that he needed. Their price was very comparable to anything else that I've looked at.
