My sister had to do a 2 week rehab at Southpark Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, then 2 weeks later our family had to go out of town and we did the short stay program for my sister at Southpark Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. As we walked in to get her settled many staff, nurses, and office attendants welcomed her back by name 🙂

My elderly father had total knee replacement. And it was very stressful trying to find the best place for him to get rehab rehabilitation in a clinical setting. This facility did a great job and was amazing! They are fully staffed for ORTHO rehab! Which was the most important thing, As he has a bit of dementia, Rachel, Michelle and Sylvia were absolutely wonderful to attend all of his needs. We are going to come back for the next one.

So I was currently admitted to the southpark Meadows nursing and rehab. And I can't say that they do have nurses that their heart is all in it but then again like any other place they have nurses who neglect the patience leave them in their pull up all day and BM on the BED SHEETS. SOAK AND WET FROM URINE.Not to mention the amount of time they leave some of the patients in their wheelchair. I just can't understand that you have a job and very hesitant to assist anyone but if you step outside your door they're sitting on the little bench in the hallway and nobody speaks up well I tell my case…

I just can't understand that you have a job and very hesitant to assist anyone but if you step outside your door they're sitting on the little bench in the hallway and nobody speaks up well I tell my case worker my social workers everything even the doctor. They may as well have physical therapy run the whole facility . They are the only ones that I see coming to harass you at 6:00 in the morning getting you up making sure you get your workout in I mean we may get upset a little bit still a big shout out to the physical therapy team at Southpark Meadows. They even go out their way to serve you just because you got up and went to therapy this is not a bad thing it's a good thing because sometimes the breakfast sits in the hallway and when the patients get it it's Cold the CNAs act like they don't speak no English but they do and they'll come in there and tell you shhhh and turn the call light off. And last but not least there is no way that I would put one of my loved ones in that facility hate to do this but somebody needs to speak up. At the end of the day if it wasn't for the patience they wouldn't be receiving a paycheck somebody make them understand that.

Place is not that great. Staff are very dismissive and you often see them just hanging around and chatting with other staff. I had asked for the staff in charge of the wing my father in law was staying on so i could get something to clean the room with and hangers to hang up the items we brought but the only response I got was a pointing of the finger and "I dont know". Definitely was not a professional atmosphere and gave off they are just there to hang out type of vibes. I feel for the patients here if they dont have immediate family who can.drop by amd check on them.and also my father in law has been pressing the button for help an nobody has been there to help him

My stay at southpark Meadows was for the wound care healing process as I walked in it was a clean environment or patients in clean and base with my experience CNAs very attentive cheerful with a good morning star punctual when needed each staff member welcomed and introduce himself as their job title duties and responsibilities wound care members were excellent as well as the therapist precise on explanation of each exercise. Overall I give it my highest recommendation/referral in a medical recuperation care

Place is not that great. Staff are very dismissive and you often see them just hanging around and chatting with other staff. I had asked for the staff in charge of the wing my uncle was staying on so i could get something to clean the room with and hangers to hang up the items we brought but the only response I got was a pointing of the finger and "I dont know". Definitely was not a professional atmosphere and gave off they are just there to hang out type of vibes. I feel for the patients here if they dont have immediate family who can.drop by amd check on them. My uncle can't walk and is just left in the room with no water or way to call for help. There is a phone in the room however you can't press a bottom to get someone at the front you have to memorize and call the number directly (mind you this is a nursing home amd rehabilitation center some of these folks can't remember their name and room numbers). I feel someone should really make it easier for the patients to get in contact with someone their by a press of a button or something.

In my previous stay at South park Meadows Emmy was the best nurse. She is gone now and my experience was different. Dora was great but the other nurses now are not as personable or kind. In both stays therapy was the shining star of my experience at South Park Meadows. The staff was very knowledgeable and had my recovery time minimized for returning closer to my normal capabilities. They were excellent despite my pain. In addition they gave me pointers on how to improve even after my discharge from the facility.

A friend of mine is in this nursing home when I visited her she was needing help workers would walk by talking to each other even though she had pushed the call button we waited a long time. I finally went and talked to a lady I saw go by she came and changed her put her in a more comfortable position. My friend has called me to tell me she cannot reach the call button because they put it where it's to far for her to reach. I had to call the facility to let them know she needed help. They don't seem to care about their patients. It's not very clean there the floors were very sticky. When I call my friend I can hear in background workers yelling. Very loud noises I can't even hear my friend talk. I don't know how any of the patients get any sleep or rest at this facility. For some reason I thought this place looked like it would be a nice place to be at. It is not.
