4.4 · 111 reviewsI have been a resident here for almost 2 years. The staff goes over and beyond to make my stay here pleasant. Many times care staff have gone out of their way to personalize my care and the physical therapist are excellent. Sean, the maintenance manager is passionate and goes the extra mile to keep the facility in tip top shape and is eager to help residents with certain special requests.
My experience with the Memory Care at Tech Ridge Oaks was not what I expected. Let’s start with the positives. The memory care unit is small, which is one of the main reasons I chose it for my mom. The caregivers are kind and compassionate, and there is a nice walking path for residents. Unfortunately, my overall experience was very disappointing. There were very few activities for the residents, and I found my mom sitting in her bowel movement on three separate occasions. The memory care unit consistently smelled strongly of urine. My experience with the Memory Care at Tech Ridge Oaks was not what I expected. Let’s start with the positives. The memory care unit is small, which is one of the main reasons I chose it for my mom. The caregivers are kind and compassionate, and there is a nice walking path for residents. Unfortunately, my overall experience was very disappointing. There were very few activities for the residents, and I found my mom sitting in her bowel movement on three separate occasions. The memory care unit consistently smelled strongly of urine. Communication with staff was virtually nonexistent unless there was an incident—which, unfortunately, there was. My mom developed unexplained bruises on her wrists, and I ultimately removed her from the facility because I was concerned for her safety. The staff did not consistently follow her care plan, and it was a constant struggle to communicate basic information, such as when she should be put to bed and when her medications should be administered. To make matters worse, money was withdrawn from my account without explanation, and no one could tell me why. In my opinion, this facility needs a complete restructuring of its management, communication, and quality of care. Based on my experience, I would not trust them with the care of my loved one.
We had an excellent tour with Allison. She was extreamly helpful, knowledgable, and attentive to our upcoming concerns and needs with placement of my Mother. Loved the place and I will feel very comfortable having my Mother become a resident.

Had a great visit at Tech Ridge for my mother. Allison Johnson was super attentive and helpful. Really appreciated the tour and her kindness at this difficult time. The apartments were clean and comfortable and I liked all the activities they offer. Doesn’t have that nursing home vibe at all, more like a community.
As a hospice social worker, I love coming to Tech Ridge Oaks because the care they offer each resident can be felt in a physical space that is clean and meticulously well-maintained. The staff interactions are consistently positive and supportive. I would highly recommend Tech Ridge Oaks to anyone who wants a loving community to surround you or your loved ones.
I have toured multiple facilities for my mother for much needed respite care. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Tech Ridge Oaks! The facility is clean, bright and well taken care of. Staff are very dedicated to ensuring that all of my mothers needs are met and working with us to make everything go smoothly for my mother's stay. Thank you Sherrean for all of you help and assistance to make sure my mother has all she needs with her stay at Tech Ridge Oaks! Peace of mind makes all the difference!
My father has lived at Tech Ridge Oaks for two years. He has thrived since moving there. He had to spend time in Skilled Nursing last year, and it only made it more clear how well he did at Tech Ridge. Like all the facilities I have seen, they are understaffed. Sometimes it takes a while to get things done. You have to be persistent and stay on top of things. Sometimes the clothes get mixed up, and someone else is wearing his things. He has things go missing, but they usually show up. The Staff care. My dad, and the others, are cared for. I trust Tech Ridge Oaks with my father. I don't even trust him with his own family. Tech Ridge Oaks is his family now. He's home.
My experience with Tech Ridge Oaks has been absolutely amazing. From the moment we connected, it was clear how much the team truly cares about every single resident who moves in. Sherrean goes above and beyond every day to make sure everyone feels welcome, valued, and loved. And the team is a strong and dedicated team - they're always attentive, professional, and compassionate. The environment here is warm, supportive, and feels like family. I would highly recommend Tech Ridge Oaks to anyone looking for a place where their loved ones will be genuinely cared for!
