Making the decision to leave a wonderful home and move to independent living comes with so many things to consider. One of the most important things for me was finding a community that did not feel like I was simply moving into an apartment. Village on the Park Onion Creek has truly exceeded my expectations. Making the decision to leave a wonderful home and move to independent living comes with so many things to consider. One of the most important things for me was finding a community that did not feel like I was simply moving into an apartment. Village on the Park Onion Creek has truly exceeded my expectations. The community is all one story, and each apartment has its own back door, covered patio, and a little outdoor space. That makes such a difference. It feels much more like coming home than living in an apartment complex. The people here are just as special. The staff is wonderful, the residents are friendly and welcoming, and there is always something going on. If you want to stay active and involved, you could easily find something enjoyable to do morning, afternoon, and evening. Jimmy Boggs, the Sales Director, is truly a light in this community. His upbeat personality and genuine care for people continue long after someone moves in. He helps make living here fun and welcoming. Barbara Crozier, our Activities Director, is equally wonderful. I cannot help but smile every time I see the two of them because of the joy and positive energy they bring to the community. If you are considering independent living and want a place that feels like home while still offering friendship, activities, support, and a true sense of community, I would absolutely recommend visiting Village on the Park Onion Creek. I am so glad I did.

We enjoy living at Village on the Park Onion Creek Independent Living because it is peaceful, quiet, and gives us a wonderful sense of privacy while still having the services and support we need. One of the things we appreciate most is that everything is all on one floor. The hallways are great for walking and getting exercise, especially if you use a cane or walker. We also enjoy having our own little back porch where we can keep potted plants, enjoy the greenery, and even attract birds. The housekeeping team comes once a week to take care of our apartment, which is very helpful, and the…

The housekeeping team comes once a week to take care of our apartment, which is very helpful, and the management team is responsive when we need something. There are also plenty of activities through the Life Engagement team, including a writing class and other opportunities to participate whenever we feel like it. There is always something to do here. We stay busy enough that we really don’t have time to say, “I’m bored.” We are very happy to call Village on the Park Onion Creek home.

I really enjoy living at Village on the Park Onion Creek Independent Living. One of the things I appreciate most is that the community is all one story. I also love having two entrances to my apartment—one that opens onto my patio and another into the hallway, which makes it easy to get around the community. The staff are wonderful, especially the people who help us in the dining room. They are some of the sweetest people I’ve met. Even when they are busy, they are always kind, patient and helpful. I also enjoy the people who live and work here, and I’ve noticed that the food has continued to improve. Occasionally things may take a little time to get done, but that is minor compared with all the things I enjoy about living here. And Jimmy is the best! He works in the marketing, but what he does is so much more than selling an apartment. He takes the time to get to know you and help you find the home that feels right for you. He understands that people will become their environment, and choosing where to live is really about the community the culture, the people around you and how you feel when you are there. I’m very happy to call Village on the Park Onion Creek home and would happily give it five stars.

What I like most about Village on the Park Onion Creek is the people—especially Jimmy. He was outstanding from the very beginning. He provided a thorough presentation, clearly explained the benefits of living here, and everything he shared has proven to be true. My mother-in-law lives here, and now my father lives here as well. That says a lot about the confidence our family has in this community. Village on the Park Onion Creek is warm, welcoming, and full of life. There are always activities taking place, the residents are engaged, and the food is excellent. We couldn’t be happier with our experience

Village on the Park Onion Creek is a beautiful, clean, and welcoming community. The landscaping is gorgeous, the apartments are beautiful, and the entire place feels warm and well cared for. The staff are always friendly, smiling, and greeting everyone. You can tell they truly care. It is a very secure and supportive environment. Residents feel safe, they won’t get lost, and there is always someone nearby to help. Overall, it is a truly positive experience and a really, really nice place. I would highly recommend it.

What I really love about living here is how friendly, warm, caring, and loving everyone is. That includes the staff, the residents, and even the families who come in — everyone truly makes you feel at home and comfortable. I also feel very protected here, and that means a great deal to me. In my previous condo, I couldn’t go upstairs, so I stayed on one level, and even though my son lived next door, I didn’t have the same sense of security that I feel now. Living here gives me peace of mind knowing that people are around me and that I’m not alone in a big house or condo by myself. I really enjoy being here with other people — it feels like home.

I have been living at Village on the Park – Onion Creek for five months, and it has been wonderful. Moving from our home in the country was very hard, but being here has brought us so much peace of mind knowing there are kind, friendly people nearby who are always willing to help. The staff is amazing — Jimmy, Joe, and the front desk team are always available and truly caring. We also love how dog-friendly the community is. We have a dog and enjoy having a small fenced backyard area where our dog can go outside and come right back in. I would absolutely recommend Village on the Park – Onion Creek to anyone considering senior living.

The staff is absolutely amazing. They are always willing to help, they take time to stop and talk with you, and they truly know you by name. That personal connection means so much. On top of that, they’re just genuinely kind people.
