4.2 · 85 reviewsThis place is the waste of your money. They don't help the patience to it on the bus to go to the doctor office. And he miss lots of Doctor appointment . This is awful. My dad was a patient there. And if I could, I would get this place at 0? And no one cares and helps you. They are understaff. This place is disappointing. I think it's a big joke. I would not send a dog here.
My mom is a resident at Brookdale Lakeshore and my siblings and I couldn't be happier with her care. The staff is professional while still showing compassion and love to my mom.
Mom is 99 and change in routine are difficult. Across the board the staff has been welcoming to mom and helped ease the transition a very well run and caring facility.

I was at Blake for 3 1/2 months and [facility removed] for 2 yrs and 4 months. [name removed[ that [facility removed] is the reason I moved.
Dad loved this place first visit. Feels very comfortable in place. Any questions and concerns are addressed immediately and corrected as needed.
Staff is great. During the day. Nighttime? They better stay in their room. The "nurse" and aide, put my mother back in bed after she broke her hip. Her leg was bent behind her. They didn't call 911. Pitiful nighttime staffing.
We chose Brookdale Lakeshore because the Facility was always clean and tidy. [name removed], the maintenance man, always responded quickly and cheerfully if we needed anything. The staff is professional, caring and compassionate, and they seem to love their jobs. They were always willing to go above and beyond!! We will miss them tremendously!!
I toured Brookdale Lakeshore. It was great. It was a smaller community, so that was good. The staff seemed to be very personal with the residents. That's where we're looking primarily now to go, we're very impressed with them. The dining area is good. They have theater, games, and gardening. There's a courtyard, and various weekly things, like outings and spas. Those rooms are some of the best for the price that we looked at. They were more spacious than the others that we had seen. There was better storage or closet space than others, even in smaller rooms.
