Great place with friendly people. The lifecare program is a great benefit.

My wife and I moved here over 6 years ago. Great activities, friendships, and great support! Didn't want to ask our kids to care for us sowhen we need it! Here we will be cared for within our budget. Great staff!!

My gramps has been a resident of John Knox for 10 years. The top notch service brings me so much comfort. The Director Mindy has true passion for the residents. She takes calls all hours of days and weekends. She goes out of her way ti help families when medical situations occur.

Very caring staff, good food, very good staff to resident ratio, excellent value and you never have to move from this community!

My moms has been there 6 years in a 2 bedroom 2 bath duplex…. Has made several friends and she totally loves it there ….. my sisters & I are so very happy she found John Knox village

I think the staff should check on all of the tenants even the ones in the outside area of the building . Also they should transfer a call to the tenants too.

For anyone 62+, experience maintenance free living, lots of activities and programs, delicious freshly prepared meals, RV and boat parking, updated & remodeled housing plus no worries about tomorrow! There is NO OTHER place like John Knox Village in the entire Rio Grande Valley.

We moved to JKV less than a month ago and due to a surgery I’m currently in the health center for the next 6 weeks. I cannot praise the staff and facilities enough. Wonderful, caring, attentive, helpful, and polite. We live in a garden cottage remodeled to our specifications and love it. All the staff from Mindy the Executive Director and Richard the Marketing Manager on down have made our entire experience worry free. This is a life care community not a nursing home. You owe it to yourself to take a tour and see what JKV has to offer. We’re extremely pleased and highly recommend the community.
