I received a lot of help especially from NURSE Angie, Chris, and Jerry! The food was usually very good and always on time.
Horrible place. Do not send your loved ones here. Poor reaction from management. Retaliation from caregivers. Reported several times in past but state investigators must tell them they're being investigated and the straighten up for that period of time.CNAs are bullies that dont like there job. If you're elderly relative is here and cant speak or communicate please be attentive to signs. Worse Nursing Home in weslaco. They hold raffles to residents in order to get prize they have to leave a positive review.
The care and service provided to my father was amazing! We can't thank them enough for taking care of him during his temporary stay. Everyone has different needs and circumstances, for my father, his were met. Thank you to all the staff and administrators! Leslie your team is great!!
Dirty rooms, meals are not the best and taste bad. For those who are abandoned there and no one else takes them food I sympathize with. Nurses don’t care and takes them hours or even days for help. CNAs try at time but they also will forget about you for an hour or two or put off care. Has potential to be a great place really the few in there that care stick out like a sore thumb but overall a very bad experience. Wish the rooms were really looked at and freshened up better. If you ever go visit someone here be kind and also check in with the roommate assigned to the room.
We love the care that she is given here at Weslaco Nursing and Rehab! The facility is clean and there are many caring employees. They know mom and take care of her. Thank you Leslie and staff for going the extra mile. Angie, Pedro, Irene , and Martha along with others go the extra mile.
Rooms are dirty and not often kept up with. A/C vents have mold on them. Nurses / CNAs don’t care and the food is barely edible. The nicest person we’ve ever encountered was the young girl who sits in the front where you sign up for visiting. Patients are barely looked at and moved. I had to help a random lady in the restroom who had been in there for half an hour and pulled the emergency string. Staff in hall was made aware of and didn’t have no sense of urgency for the lady
Everyone was very nice and Physical Therapy helped me walk again. They were wonderful. The Nurses were amazing and helpful. The Kitchen help Maria helped me so much. I was sick with my throat she gave me hot Tea. When I got better she gave me Magic Cups ice cream. I went in at 77 lbs. and came out at 110 lbs. Thae were so helpful.... God Bless them all.
Administrator Leslie was such a sweetheart, taking care of any & all issues that I encountered. The Rehab Team did an excellent job of motivating extra effort to get stronger. All of the office staff were very accommodating in helping with paperwork, faxing, & calls. The nurses, aides, & all caregivers cared for the patients needs as if it was their family.
