4.3 · 92 reviewsI had to place my husband in a nursing home for 5 days Respite care. I did not choose Windsor it was chosing by Gentiva Hospice social worker. When I went to pick up his personal items for home that Monday 8/31/26. He was lying in bed soaking wet. He said he'd been wet since we left him there. Now Gentiva had a bedside commode available for him cause that's his routine at home. All his clothes were in garbage bags soiled with urine. We provided a laundry basket with instructions we would do his laundry. No sign ever posted to alert staff (Monday). This is a 79 y.o. man that does need…

I had to place my husband in a nursing home for 5 days Respite care. I did not choose Windsor it was chosing by Gentiva Hospice social worker. When I went to pick up his personal items for home that Monday 8/31/26. He was lying in bed soaking wet. He said he'd been wet since we left him there. Now Gentiva had a bedside commode available for him cause that's his routine at home. All his clothes were in garbage bags soiled with urine. We provided a laundry basket with instructions we would do his laundry. No sign ever posted to alert staff (Monday). This is a 79 y.o. man that does need extensive assistance x 1 with his' adls. He was not happy. I cleaned him up for his ambulance trip home. He ate his last meal there with me setting up tray and searching down the hallway for a CNA to get utensils so he could eat. Long story short I wouldn't put my dog in Windsor Nursing and Rehab Center of Weslaco.
I had my sister in this facility. We as a family were very happy with the care and compassion that my sister received. Everyone always had a smile on their face and were patient with my sister.
My grandmother was there a while back and I cannot tell you how much she enjoyed her stay. The staff was so caring and kind, they were always available to help. They took the time to have little conversations with her when possible. They truly showed compassion and empathy. We will for sure use this facility again when needed.

I would like to take the time, and thank all the staff at Windsor Nursing and Rehabilitation. From the receptionist, up front, administration, CNA, and Nurses to the kitchen staff, activity coordinator, and physical therapists. Thank you! For the lovely kindness, and care you all present to my Mom (Miss Carol). A special, Thank You!!! to (Maggie) ( Business Office Manager) for her professionalism and expertise. We were able to resolve a delicate situation. She truly goes above, and beyond to make sure what's best for the patient, and the family.🫶 May God 🙏 continue Blessing this establishment with wonderful staff members. ( The only thing I think would be greatly appreciated would be a little bit more staff for the evening from 4 to 8pm. It tends to become a little bit more Hectic, for some reason at that time.) Great Job 👍 and God Bless 🙏
My sister was in the facility, they treated her with dignity and respect. We came to view some of the staff and residents as our extended family. We truly want to give thanks for all of them for their constant support
Everyone of the staff members are really respectful to all patients and they take the time to take care of everyone there patients.,... Stay blessed I recommend this facility to anyone

Very impressed with the coordination and quality of care . All the team responds accordingly and makes every effort to accommodate my father. My father has voiced his experience and says that they treat him very well. In addition , we have seen a significant change and has been showing progress with his therapy. Overall , I feel Ms Cassandra (Admin ) is spearheading a magnificent establishment and render impressing services . Social Worker, Finance Director, Admissions Director and all the therapist are always there to accommodate my father . It is for those reasons I highly recommend Windsor Rehab in Weslaco . Thank you all for such a wonderful team .
